"Pleasant work trip"

Visiting San Ramon for a business trip is a little bit more comfortable staying at the San Ramon Marriott. The hotel has a gym, heated pool, restaurant/bar, water station and short distance from stores.

"Good"

Clean room. The front staff couldn't find our booking reservations despite trying different ways to look for our informations.

Upon calling the next day, it seems that the front associate was irritated on my questions and concerns

"Better than most in this day of bare bones hotel amenities."

In today's world or bare bones Marriott's, this one is very good. Their Concierge Room is very good for breakfast and late day snacks. Rooms are fresh and clean. Staff is very friendly other than one exception. Although their signs say that they only offer housekeeping every five days, they cleaned my room every day. Not sure, but it may be because I'm a Titanium for life Bonvoy member. One thing they could really use is a shuttle. All in all one of the better Marriots I have stayed in since their service and amenities were all cut back to Motel 6 levels. I've been staying at Marriott since they had one hotel. The Twin Bridges Marriott in Washington, DC. In those days when Bill Marriott was still alive, they took pride in being levels above Motel 6. Now in some Marriotts if you took the signage down you couldn't tell the difference.

"Above and beyond"

We had a wonderful Valentines weekend. This hotel is AMAZING! We had a wonderful dinner. We asked if they had any chocolate covered strawberries for the occasion. Unfortunately they didn't. We asked them to light the fire table outside which they did, even though it was just us. As we were having our Valentine's Day drinks by the fire, they showed up with chocolate covered strawberries with a special red heart on the plate. The drinks, the food and the strawberries were a great value! They also have a nice lounge/M club with all kinds of goodies for members.
