Beck Allan’s Guest House was outstanding. Accommodation was excellent and Jenny and Jim were perfect hosts. Breakfast was exceptional as was Jenny’s baking (loved the orange and poppy seed cake). Can’t wait to return and hope to be back soon. Pam & Al Martin

"Wonderful 3 night break!"

Jenny and Jim made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived with a nice coffee and homemade flapjack. They are so accommodating and their knowledge of the local area is really good. Beck Allans is in a lovely peaceful location in tphe centre of Grasmere, with a lovely stream running by and very friendly ducks who frequently visit. Our room was very comfortable and well maintained, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and the bathroom was lovely too. Lots of local personnel touches made the stay really enjoyable, from Lake District toiletries to the amazing breakfasts that contained all locally sourced produce. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will certainly be booking again. Andrew, Karen and Ian.

"Super helpful hosts!"

We arrived a bit early but were allowed to leave the car at the on-site parking. Very warmely welcomed in the Guesthouse. The owners are super helpful and willing to go extra mile to deliver fantastic service! The pnly shame is that the rooms are little small, but you're not in Lake District to spend time in the room 😀
