Beck Allans Guesthouse

Fantastic guest house. Jen and Jim were so friendly. Breakfasts were filling and tasty. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Their knowledge of the area proved useful and good walking routes and advice were given. All in all a lovely stay in a beautiful area. Definitely recommend

We stayed for 3nights at this property and everything was amazing. The location was in the centre of Grasmere and so peaceful. The property is ideally situated and our room looked over the river.It was spotlessly clean with lots of storage space. There are lots of eating places but for evening meals it s probably wise to book. Jim and Jenny were the perfect hosts super friendly but not overpowering. They made us feel so at home.Jim s cooked breakfast was amazing and Jenny s lemon cake was deliciously moresome. We cannot fault our stay in Grasmere and are so glad we found this gem of a property. We will definately return . Thankyou Jim and Jenny.

Would recommend this guest house to anyone looking to stay in beautiful Grasmere. The hosts are very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and accommodating. The location is great right by the river, the rooms are nice and the breakfast is lovely. Will be going back.

Absolutely fantastic place. Great location and Surely the best B&B in Grasmere! Very friendly hosts Jenny and Jim.. nothing is too much trouble. Amazing breakfast and Jenny bakes very tasty cakes! Exceptionally clean and very comfortable rooms with lots of lovely extras...tea coffee biscuits and all bathroom essentials. Thanks for a fantastic stay 10/10 highly recommend

The hosts Jim and Jenny were perfect, very approachable, very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The Guesthouse was in a great spot, the room was lovely and clean. The bathroom had everything you needed. The breakfast was excellent along with the choices. Would I stay again? I certainly would and will do so again in the future.

The hosts, Jenny and Jim, were so friendly and accommodating! Both added to the enjoyment of our stay there. The guesthouse surroundings are just lovely, and the town of Grasmere is beautiful. The room we stayed in was very comfortable with plenty of closet and drawer space. Our breakfast was good, and we really appreciated the recommendations for dinner in the town. We would stay there again.

As very regular visitors to Grasmere over the years my wife and I considered it about time we sampled Beck Allans for our most recent trip and we are so very glad we decided to book this wonderful guest house. Situated centrally within Grasmere it sits in a quiet and very beautiful location beside the river Rothay. Owners Jim and Jenny are fantastic hosts, very welcoming, friendly and attentive to our every need. Our room 8 was spacious, very nicely appointed throughout with a comfortable bed and spotlessly clean, and I have no doubt the other guest rooms are of an equally high standard. Being a big fan of the full English breakfast as a great way to start the day I can honestly say Jim and Jenny provide one of the very best we’ve ever experienced, really really excellent. If you’re seeking quality accommodation in Grasmere then don’t hesitate to book Beck Allans because you simply won’t be disappointed. Would very happily return.
