Sofitel Mexico City Reforma

Just wrapped up another excellent stay at Sofitel Mexico City Reforma. We had a Luxury Room which was comfortable for the two of us and had fantastic views from both the bedroom and bathroom (the tub overlooked the Ángel de la Independencia). We were welcomed with chocolates and tequila which was a really nice touch. Service is always a highlight. The team is consistently friendly, attentive, and accommodating. A special mention to Julian (Guest Experience Manager), who recognized us from previous stays and made us feel truly welcome. Will definitely be back!

Visited for breakfast while celebrating our wedding anniversary. Amazing views, food, and service, particularly from Carlos who made our anniversary feel extra special.

Sofitel Reforma has become our number-one choice every time we visit Mexico City. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city, with everything within easy reach. The service is consistently excellent, and the staff always go above and beyond to make every stay memorable. The overall quality of the experience is exceptional from the rooms, which are always impeccably maintained, to the food, which never disappoints. And of course, the highlight that we never miss: Citizen, with its breathtaking view over the entire city. It’s truly one of the best spots in CDMX. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and outstanding hospitality.

Fabulous food. I enjoyed all but the octopus and the pumpkin dessert were my absolute favourites. Service was impeccable with two serving us together. We sat at a window seat enjoying the city below Nancy, Ray, Ramses, Marcos, Irais, Dafne, thank you!

Wonderful atmosphere and great service from Ernesto at the Cityzen Rooftop Bar for a mid morning brunch on our trip to CDMX. Would gladly come back for the friendly and welcoming staff. Incredible views of Reforma from the terrace. Food was tasty and came out fast. Loved the croissant cube with guayaba filling!

This was our fourth time to the Sofitel CDMX and did not disappoint. I booked a standard king room and was upgraded to a luxury room because of my Accor loyalty. Same layout as last time but a bit smaller on a lower floor, and with another amazing deep soaking tub. The room is nicely appointed and I love the Bluetooth feature for playing music while hanging out in the room. The workout room is still functional and has a beautiful view. It was a bit busy this time but still managed to get a workout in. The pool as well is still amazing and apparently we lucked out and went on a Sunday afternoon and we were the only ones in the pool. We avoided Cityzen this time but the Lobby bar is decent and the fact that you can use your welcome drink Accor amenity for a signature cocktail is a class act. Location is convenient but beware that the Uber ride into old town can be long. I wish we would’ve just walked a little couple of times instead of sitting in traffic. Staff is friendly and there wasn’t anything about this visit that was over the top great but I’m looking forward to my next stay.
