Location was fantastic. Price was reasonable.

Decor in downstairs toilet needs updating. There is a world map on the wall, but Africa has fallen off. Cleanliness was poor; a menstrual cup was found behind the chair in the master bedroom. There was no equipment to allow guests to clean for themselves, despite the guest book asking that it be left clean and tidy. Bed in attic room is slats and a double mattress put across a single bed frame, meaning that the bed tipped when one person got out.

1. The outside space - This is described in the property advertisement as a ‘patio and terrace’, and the picture shows an attractive looking space with seating. It was nothing like this during our stay as the entire area is overgrown, the seating is rotten and there is a place to put cigarette butts on the wall which is overflowing. The overgrown vegetation also restricts light into the sitting room meaning it was necessary to have the lights on during the day. 2. Beds – Both beds on the first floor are extremely hard to the point of being impossible to sleep on. This has been mentioned many times in the reviews since 2023, yet no action has been taken to improve the situation. 3. Handrail – The handrail on the main staircase is not fit for purpose. One cannot use it to hold on to aid ascending and descending the stairs as it is too close to the wall. 4. Toilet Seat – The toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom is loose and needs securing before someone has an accident. Again, this has been mentioned may times in reviews. 5. TV – The TV is missing many of the common channels. An attempt to re-tune it did not improve the situation. Once again mentioned in reviews. 6. No Hanging Spaces – There are no wardrobes or anywhere to hang clothes, and no hangers even if there was. I have never experienced this before in any of the rental properties I have stayed in. 7. Shower – The shower is loose on the wall and there is no safety mat to prevent users slipping on the tray. I suspect the former is caused by the lack of the latter. 8. Freezer – There is no freezer space at all. I would have expected at least a small space to store ice cream or make ice cubes. 9. Extractor Fans – The one in the upstairs bathroom doesn’t appear to work and the one in the downstairs toilet sounds like it is about to fall off the wall. 10. Recycling – No bins are provided to recycle waste. 11. Welcome Pack – No milk provided.

Excellent location and free car parking.

Lighting could do with upgeade downstairs. Yard outside needs some tlc.

The place needs a good clean, lots of dust and cobwebs around. Needs some painting and things fixing too - couches have a few holes, bathroom door doesn’t lock, few marks on the walls

Fab location for all local amenities and attractions. Comfy house well appointed with all you need.

It states there is a £100 cleaning fee. Thick dust on the bedside lamp, in front bedroom, cobwebs on walls and ceilings and the lounge light fitting. A lot of money to charge for a clean following a booking.

It was ok for family to be together in one place.

The bed at the top of the stairs wasn't very good for a couple or a large person, it was a futon and not a proper bed.
