Embassy Suites by Hilton Flagstaff

First, it is in process of renovation, the fitness center is very nice, managers reception and breakfast were good. Short staffed but the team that was there were friendly… if not a bit rushed.

AC was very loud, mattress was sagging in areas.. ( glad this is being renovated) but the room was very clean, as was the property, landscape could use some care.

The picture online must be from 1982. This place is ROUGH. Front staff amazing. But not enough to get me to stay there.

Friendly staffs, comfortable room and Good full breakfast and we got complimentary drink and snack in the evening (not sure if its there for all seasons) Ample parking space with easy access door to the rooms.

Looks and feels outdated. you got to upgrade the rooms.

This was by far the worst Embassy Suites we have ever stayed. The building looks pretty nice from the outside, but inside it is old and outdated with stains on the sofas and worn carpet. We had dinner reservations shortly after our arrival so I hopped into the shower immediately before noticing that the containers holding both body wash and shampoo were completely out. I also noticed a glob of liquid soap in the shower soap tray making me feel like the shower wasn’t even cleaned. The hotel was very understaffed. When we mentioned the shower issues to the one helpful attendant at the front desk, it was her who had to bring new toiletries all the way to our room but no offers to clean the shower. The coffee pot was completely broken but they had no replacements. The building is old and runs on a boiler system so we were told if the room was too hot, the only solution was to open the windows. You couldn’t turn on air conditioning. But one window in our room had no screen and the other was broken. Finally they were again understaffed at breakfast time. There were probably 75 guests in the breakfast area and the attendants were unable to keep the food and coffee restocked. The morning front desk attendant was on his headphones and unhelpful.

Stay away because this is the worst Hilton property we have ever stayed at. Hilton is my go to brand; however, this particular facility is not up to Hilton standards. The heater in our room did not produce heat and we were told to open a window when the outside temperatures were in the 30s and 40s and our room was a freezer. I’ve been in computer co trip rooms that have been warmer than our room was.

Do NOT stay here. It’s old and dated and that’s okay. What’s not okay is being dirty with mold in showers and on ceilings, cabinets barely hanging into the walls, dirty linens, broken drapes, rattling air returns, horrible traffic noise. What is absolutely not okay is when the front desk is notified that the bathroom light isn’t working (two times) and they never take care of it. Embassy Suites has always been a brand where you knew what you were getting but this experience has absolutely ruined this brand for me.

It was so easy to check in and out, it was clean and the complimentary drink for my husband and I was nice.

The A/C didn't work in our room so it got really warm. The carpeting and pull out couch need updating.

Front desk staff is extremely rude and unwelcoming. Did not even greet us, just told us no rooms ready until 4pm. Do better

The location was excellent

They claimed it was under construction, there was no air conditioning and the lights in the bathroom were not working consistently. The handle on the tub kept falling off.
