Kaab Tulum

The location was excellent and the cleanliness as well. Elísea and Tatiana at reception were excellent. Everything was great except for morning kitchen staff.

The hotel was really nice! Beautiful hotel atmosphere. Front desk girl from France was a very kind, and accommodating and helped us with anything we needed or asked for. Room was clean. AC worked well which was great since it’s really humid in May. The tv worked fine except the volume was set a little loud and unable to adjust but No big deal. Our package came with breakfast, simple breakfast but very tasty, first morning we stayed there, the guy serving us was super friendly and served us very quickly since we had a tour we had to go to. The second morning a different guy served us, some short chunky guy and wasn’t so friendly, he waited for guests to ask him for breakfast and was talking crap under his breathe, which guests can totally see and hear. It made our breakfast morning uncomfortable since he was rude and unprofessional. He even forgot our toast and our fruit too. Other than that, our stay was great! Location was close to everything, had a lot of good places to eat nearby and shops for souvenirs or market to purchase whatever you needed. I would stay here again.

Stop deliberating and just book it! Best decision you’ll make all trip. Save the money you’d spend on a big fancy hotel and use it towards snorkeling, good food, cenote tours, xel-ha, and souvenirs! This place is perfect. You’re an 8 minute drive to the Tulum ruins, 10 minute drive to multiple cenotes, 2 minute walk to the main strip, 4 minute walk to nice restaurants, 5 minute walk to multiple covid testing centers. The room is clean and the staff is nice. I stayed here for a week and felt safe the whole time. Water isn’t always hot and tv is glitchy but you’re not going to Tulum to watch TV or take long hot showers. This place offers the best bang for your buck. Just book it.

I would stay here again. This is why. We went for New Years Eve and had no idea that we would not be able to get a taxi from Kaab to Tulum Beach. There were 5 of us and the owners of Kaab let us pile into his truck and took us to the beach. If he doesn't take us, we miss New Years! Additionally, the staff was very helpful for anything we needed.
