We had a wonderful stay at Rocklea Guest House in the Lake District. Chris and Liz were incredibly friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make us feel at home. Liz gave us great recommendations on places to visit, which were really helpful. One of the standout features was the breakfast—freshly cooked to order when you're ready, not pre-prepared like in many other places. It was absolutely delicious with a great variety of options. Highly recommended!

The pancakes for breakfast are a must. The room we stayed was extremely comfortable with plenty of space. The location was perfect 10 minutes one way you’re in Bowness , 5 minutes the other and you’re in Windermere.

The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice.Very close to all amenities. The room was very clean and the sound of the little brook outside the window helped with nodding off. Liz was very helpful with suggestions as where to visit and things to see. We arrived as guests but left as friends.

Nothing, everything was perfect.
