Residence Inn Corpus Christi

The 2 bedroom suite was nice and had plenty of space. Beds were comfortable.

The pictures posted on the website were very misleading. Granted I understand this is an older hotel however the courtyard area did not look as shown, the basketball hoop was pulled out from concrete and was laying on the ground, there was a shattered glass pane in pool area, carpets were stained in the hallways, and there were roaches. Not a good value for the price I paid. They claim to be doing construction but we didn't see any construction going on at the time nor did I receive an email as they mentioned.

the staff is ALWAYS friendly. I have been coming here for almost 5 years now, and this is the place that I prefer.

The quality of the rooms have decreased. a year ago, there was mold on the ceiling and the vents. This year, the ceiling was leaking above our shower. I feel like whoever owns this property really needs to remodel or get a better contractor to remodel. I saw work that wasn't done properly and that was clearly visible from previous repairs from the ceilings. Paint didn't match. i mean typically i dont care, but as a customer if i see that then it Just kind of raises awareness of repairs that have been done previously which makes me want to rethink choosing this place again. The bed has lost its comfort. you could tell this bed was worn in. i mean its a hotel, what do you expect. I feel like the reason i typically go back is based off my first experience with this hotel, but now i am reconsidering my options. Again this is nothing based on the staff. definitely not their fault. They have and always have been helpful to me every year, so they always get credit for having great customer service.

Room was dirty including the restroom.

Food on the floor as we walked in. No bedding for pull out and phone didn't work to call down and ask for some. Went down to get them and let them know the tv also did not work. The hotel was going through renovations (room numbers in Sharpie on doors). Pool ladder broken and rusty screws by pool. It appears there was a bullet hole in the pool area. Vents are very dirty and room musty.

If you’re trying to impress somebody, this is not the place to go, but if you just need a place to sleep, it will do

The room was clean and spacious. Everything was great!

Lighting in the room was minimal.

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The room had kitchen, fridge and microwave which made things much more convenient for us. Location is perfect close to major stores.

Building maintenance is needed. The AC vents need to be cleaned. The paint job was awful and it is obvious. The finishing on the tile are badly done. The carpet needs to be replaced.

We always appreciate the size and function of the suites. We have stayed at multiple locations.

Dirty room/roach on floor/sticky surfaces, lack of response from management. 1 of the 6 televisions actually worked in the 2 suites. Holes in towels, hair in tub. Chipped up tub.
