Fairfield Inn & Suites South Bend Mishawaka

Location is honestly about the only thing I liked.

I had a deluxe king room that had 2 televisions. Only one worked, so I got stuck watching my kids cartoons all weekend. I asked about fixing the other one, and the front desk admitted they knew it was broken. But the maintenance guy was not on duty, apparently. There were dirty socks and trash in the room when I got there. The bed was very hard. I had asked for extra blankets, and apparently, that's not something that they have.

The worst hotel I have ever been to. I will never go back. Terrible. It doesn't have a laundry room like it says. I had to wait more than 15 minutes for breakfast because the egg was gone and they didn't put it back... and in the coffee maker in the room there were animal nests. Also, the service when you arrive from the woman in front of the hotel is terrible. I will never go back, don't rent it.

The mattress was FILTHY! While we were sleeping, the sheet and cotton mattress cover slid off the top corners of the mattress. When I was putting them back on, I noticed a reddish, yellowish stain approximately 24 x 30 inches on the mattress.

Never judge a book by its cover, the outside was kind of old and scary, the lobby was updated and newer and so weren't the rooms but the hallways and pool area were very dingy, and what turned us to this property was the jacuzzi because we are driving from New Hampshire to Colorado was out of service. Not happy at all.

We arrived and there were no towels in the room then we open up the sofa bed no linens we also had to ask for pillows and pillow cases. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced imo. It would really not be suited to adults sleeping in it. I expected better when paying for an executive suite.

Nothing. In fact I liked it so little, I booked another hotel out of desperation. I had to eat the $290 cost of this room despite it being uninhabitable.

This location was not maintained and disgusting. To keep it brief, black mold in and around the air contditoner, dirty walls, dirty floor, elevator falling apart and dirty, smell of mildew. I left and found another hotel after being there thirty minutes. Didn't even unpack. It felt unclean and unsafe. I'd like my money back please.
