I've stayed here multiple times, this was the worst by far. Noisy (hockey tournament for children), terrible room, and just not a fun experience. But only this once, so hopefully better next time.

Avoid This Hotel – Horrible Experience and No Accountability Our stay at this hotel was a complete disaster from check-in to check-out. Upon arrival, we had to make four separate trips to the front desk because our key cards wouldn’t work. Finally, after calling the manager (Ivie), the front desk was instructed to use a physical key—only to discover the room was already occupied! After being moved to another room, we found mold on the shower ceiling, a bathroom outlet that burned our phone charger, and a ton of ants coming from the AC/heat unit. Disgusted, we returned to the front desk, only to be told there were no other rooms available. They offered a full refund but the manager refused to come out and speak with us, instead hiding in the back and only calling to confirm. Six hours later, still no refund. When we called again, Devon answered, refused to provide any information, and just sat silently on the phone. This place is a nightmare—dirty, unsafe, and completely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else!

The breakfast was mediocre if not poor. Granted the hotel had very few guests. Fortunately we had brunch plans, but if I was counting on this for my first meal of the day I’d be very upset.

This hotel does get the job done as an affordable option in the area for Marriott Bonvoy guests. Nothing too amazing but not bad either which is very consistent with the Fairfield Inn brand where you can expect in-room microwave and refrigerators, bedside outlets to charge electronics, as well as the complimentary breakfasts. I requested a first floor room due to the amount of luggage I carried which was thankfully honored. Staff were pleasant throughout the stay despite what appeared to be multiple youth sports teams staying at the same time. (Might want to stay away from Room 117 though as it's adjacent to the indoor pool and susceptible to the loud echoes of guests playing in there.) I stayed here without a car so was reliant on rideshares to get to/from the airport. However there's decent food options that are within walking distance with the University Park Mall being about 10 minutes away in one direction and a Target another 10 minutes away going the opposite way. There's also a Transpo bus stop nearby where you can catch the 15A bus down Grape Road on one direction which should give more options or towards the Mall where you can connect with the 7 to reach Notre Dame (though be warned that the 15A is only hourly and the commercial stretch of Grape Road is without sidewalks!)
