Hyatt Place Atlanta Alpharetta North Point Mall

We did not know that housekeeping was upon request, so the second night, we had to do the housekeeping.

I honestly expected better out of Hyatt, which is why I booked the hotel. The first room I checked into the mattress was severely stained. The baseboards were disgusting with dried substance, and there was hair everywhere. I then checked into a second room where the linens were stained, fitted sheet was ripped, and there were hairs , dust and debris in every single corner in the entire room. Cleaning stuff is definitely not doing their job and a lot of the linens need to be tossed and replaced.

The room size was nice. I like that there was a refrigerator.

Our original room was occupied when we opened the door. We got a new room, and it smelled like old, wet clothes. There was also hair everywhere. The shower head was loud and just straight up bad.

Convenience to the job I was working

Had to change rooms because the first room was not clean at all, and the second room was barely acceptable. There was hair everywhere in every single corner in the entire room. Stains on the duvet insert and ripped sheets. I did notify the front desk and share pictures and he said he would address it with housekeeping. But the second room I was in the linens were old, ripped and needed to be completely replaced.

The romance package is a SCAM. I was charged over 140 for a delux king room with a romance package. That was supposed to have sparkling wine and candy. There was nothing in my room when I arrived. I went down to the front desk to see if we were put in the wrong room. They informed me they dont even have a liquor license to be able to legally offer that. I was told to contact customer service. I did and no one has contacted me to make it right. They charged me $50 over the regular rate for a room. I got nothing. If they cannot offer that at that location they should not be taking people's money. This was supposed to be for our valentines get away. We would have staying somewhere else had we known. Other hotels were offering valentines specials we could have taken advantage of. PLACES THAT ACTUALLY FOLLOWED THRU with their offers. Still waiting to hear back. 😪 SCAM! BEWARE.

Parking room design, breakfast, TV entertainment, gym, location.

Not enough diversity in staff. There should be at least one Caucasian at the front desk. There was at least one person hanging around inside that looked like he didn’t belong. IE; dress, cleanliness, hygiene.

Not bad breakfast, everything in room was old, and some staff does not work. Very noisy. Be ready to have extra payment in check in (security deposit 50$ por night)
