Ramada By Wyndham Cairns City Centre

The property is so run down, it's literally falling apart and noisy with all the work happening around the pool. The room itself is old and have not been renovated since the 70s and smells like it as well. The issues I faced are quite comical, 2 out of the 4 lights weren't working so the room was quite dark, the tv had no antenna so the picture was cutting out all the time and the volume on the remote was the channel and the channel was the volume. The sink drain had no cover so I lost my razor blade in it and the water pressure was no more than a light trickle. How expedia rated this rat hole as a "7.4 & Good" is beyond me, you should be embarrassed with yourself. Luckily I only had an overnight business stay, I feel sorry for the tourist and honeymooners that are staying at this place.

It's hard to be positive when they're renovating, but our louvres didn't really block out the light from outside, and there was lots of noise around the room, also the pillows were awful

An old property, currently undergoing what looks like long overdue renovation and repairs. Pool currently not in use due to renovations. Our room was neat and tidy with a comfortable bed. 24 hour reception was available, which was 1 reason we chose the property due to a past midnight arrival. Staff very helpful and friendly.

This hotel was terrible it has been let to run down terribly and no care to make it look good . Advertised as a four star hotel I wouldn’t give it two . The door fittings were attached by a child by the looks the furniture had stains and room smelt of smoke and a chemical to mask the smoke smell do not stay here

Place is looking old and we weren't told of the pool renovations so there was alot of temporary fencing up. Sarah was amazing and very helpful trying to get our 3 rooms close together. Bed was very comfy and it was surprisingly quiet.

Nice large rooms, very helpful staff. Some work is going on but very good location and I will be happy to stay there again.

Convenient and comfortable within walking distance to restaurants and the Esplanade. Friendly reception, easy parking and access, close to the Cairns Aquarium across the road, quiet location close to the centre of the city. Beds comfortable.

Room was not clean. can feel moist smell through air conditioning. Can see cockroaches in the breakfast area. Food was not fresh. They were using last day food in the next day. Ramada entrance was look like old place. Coffee machine was not working properly. No ventilation in washroom.
