Shilo Inn Suites Ocean Shores

The staff were courteous and helpful but the property was run down and amenities were not as advertised on the web. It’s clear the area has been on hard times, but this needs to be realistically noted in the website. I don’t fault the staff! I fault the owners for substandard maintenance and inaccurate web listing and information! I would find another property in the area.

Staff was nice but the place is a wreck. Unclean tubs, walls and sinks. Never going back again!

Terrible rooms this hotel is in bad conditions Firts when they we're doing the check in the said the pool was closed do to maintenance the restaurants and restroms are closed too! When we when to the room everything was dirty like they didn't clean the room. Pillows we're very dirty with stain and makeup everything in the rooms was dirty the windows had damp mold. So disappointed 😞 it is not worth the amount of money you pay to receive a room dirty and anything working right in the hotel.

Hotel is shut down and closed yet still taking reservations. Even got a confirmation email two days ago for a room in a hotel that has been shut down and condemned!!! Phone number doesn’t answer and mail box is full.

the got shut down the day after my weekend stay. it was horrendous condition. Very dirty and seagulls where everywhere pooping all over the parking lot cause they had several nests on the roof. my husband literally got pooped on. No hot water either.

The pictures of the Shilo Inn Ocean Shores WA are false advertisement. The entire hotel is dilapidated & filthy inside & out. The windows interior & exterior, the elevator, the hallways have not been cleaned in months could be years. The swimming pool room is filthy, the floor of the pool has built up grime so much so the water is brownish green; the gutters are filled with overgrown plants with water dripping down to the guest rooms deck, the decks & chairs are filthy. The restaurant has been closed since 2019 yet it’s advertised as open, there is no complimentary breakfast. The guest suite had no hot water, the bed was worn & concave. No one should stay in this unclean hotel, it needs to be closed for massive clean up and repair. Expedia the pictures advertised are false & misleading.

Pros: Location is in a prime spot. Staff members were all kind. Cons: DIRTY. We stayed on the 3rd floor. They leave windows open down the hallway which have no screens. There was seagull feathers EVERYWHERE and it stunk horribly. Our room room you could see where they have dusted/cleaned around objects(to an extent). The remote in the room was slopped on with gunk and the couch had stains. We couldn't really utalize our patio due to seagull poop everywhere. The pool deck was not the cleanest and the hottub wasnt either. The hotel is very outdated and could use some major TLC. The tiling on the floor is cracked in multiple places in the lobby and the tiling thoughout the entire pool room is cracked. All which can be major safety hazards for people. There were some issues with the room itself that is very outdated but not the biggest issue. There were a lot of homeless and stung out people hanging out all day along the hotel where the closed down restaurant was. That should be something the hotel should address to have them off the hotel property. The biggest bummer was the hot water for the whole hotel was out. So it was ice cold showers after the pool and beach were a bummer. However, we were not informed the water was out until we asked about it. They stated it's been out all day. Also, they had a sign that stated they had not food due to no food handlers. Save your money, and sanity, and stay at the Lighthouse Suite Inn down the road! They even have breakfast :)
