The front desk experience was very straightforward and easy and everybody was very friendly, especially Nathan. Nathan also took our luggage up to our room and was very helpful with information about the hotel.

I booked this hotel on a total whim during a brutal midweek heatwave, just needing a comfortable place to work, unwind, and get a solid night’s sleep—and it turned into an exceptional experience, largely because of the incredible people here. From the moment I walked in, Reggie and My made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. This wasn’t just polite customer service—it was thoughtful, attentive, above-and-beyond hospitality that you don’t come across often. They checked in (without being intrusive), made sure I had everything I needed to stay productive and comfortable, and created an atmosphere that felt both professional and personal. It truly felt like they were invested in making my stay great, not just doing their jobs. Even the maintenance crew deserves recognition—their friendliness and responsiveness didn’t go unnoticed. Every interaction, no matter how small, reflected a team that takes pride in what they do and in how they treat their guests. There was construction happening due to renovations, but I experienced zero disruptions, which honestly speaks volumes about how well everything is managed behind the scenes. The only downside was not being able to use the pool, but even that couldn’t take away from how recharging the stay was. But after a long workday in a clean, peaceful place and being able to unwind with a glass of wine was just as refreshing. I can’t thank the team enough for turning a last-minute booking into such a memorable and comfortable stay. The service here is what truly sets this place apart. And next time you’re there, I hope Reggie is the one who greets you and kickstarts your stay—whatever the occasion. And if he isn’t… definitely ask for him :)

This is my 3rd time staying at the Westin Pasadena hotel, and every time, it has been a pleasure. The check in process is smooth, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The conference has always been well organized and the food provided by the hotel is delicious. Also, as a platinum member, you get a complimentary breakfast (which I never used b/c I already had breakfast provided), and the hotel pretty consistently provided a room upgrade. Once, I was upgraded to a beautiful suite that had an extensive balcony overlooking the mountains. The hotel is in a safe and convenient location in Pasadena and I would highly recommend it. My only negative comment is that the pool seems to be closed every time I have been there.
