The Westin Pasadena

Lot of positives but few negatives too, I would definitely stay here again because of the great location and comfortable beds. As a Titanium member, I did not receive a room upgrade but got late check out and free breakfast - you have $60 credit for 2 and can choose whatever you want on the menu. Great lobby, smells nice with a lot of seating options. However, our room smelled like hamburgers when we walked in. Room is a little outdated. Parking is a little misleading, you have access to park at a parking garage next door, but there are no in & out privileges, so you have to either pay $8 per hour or $19 max for day. For a one-night stay, we ended up paying much more than $19 because we went out for coffee & shopping. We liked that there are Electric car charging stations in the parking garage, but it is not $5 per day like the Bonvoy app states. Overall, it’s very conveniently located and one of the best options in Pasadena.

We had a two night stay recently and enjoyed this hotel . Everything went smoothly from signing in until checking out . The room was comfortable , everything worked and we enjoyed the breakfast that came with our stay . Would stay here again when in the area .

Daughter, single female, traveling alone was walked last night. Left on her own to go to Burbank. Told “we knew weeks ago” we were oversold. Also told nothing else is available in Pasadena. Simply not true, she found a room down the street in 2 minutes. Is this property safe for female travelers? Shame on you Marriott!

I had a confirmed reservation here with Westin for about a month. At the very last minute (2.5 days before my stay) they bumped me as they were apparently frantically oversold. They were unwilling to offer any comparable option elsewhere and left me to find my own room. So be aware that they might simply cancel your reservation at anytime and leave you homeless.

It was a great experience all around kudos to guille and Nathan and everyone else. Two remarkable persons who made our visit unforgettable.

Decent hotel. Clean rooms, housekeeping comes in to clean daily. Nice lobby and indoor/outdoor sitting areas. The main issue is that the pool is closed and there is almost no mention of it on Westin Pasadena website. Not on main page, booking, or 'hotel details' section. There is a notice if you go into 'wellness' section that the pool is closed for repairs and upgrades. It feels like they are being intentionally deceitful about the pool being closed, which is troubling because their outdoor, rooftop pool is a main feature of this hotel. From what I can tell from other reviews, the pool has been closed since the summer? We were there for 7 days and no work was being done on the pool whatsoever, not one person was even in the area. Disappointing.
