Urban Yard

We were so disappointed, our room didn't have an external window or barely any daylight. The window in the room looked onto a wall with a small lightshaft. When i asked about this i was told it was because i had booked a quadrouple room. So beware ... what you think you've booked may not be what you get!!!!! Even hotels.com said it doesn't specify in the description that you get an external window. Also we were forgotten about at check in, everyone else waiting was given keys but we had to go back to the reception again. The safe in our room didn't work. Someone came to look and said they couldn't fix it and would ask another member of staff, 2 days later when we checked out the safe still hadn't been fixed.

Seemed very noisy. And very basic.

Nice modern property. Dark room, no AC (only had a heating setting). Comfortable bed and good shower. Area isn't the best.

The property was great. Anderson at the front desk was particularly helpful and friendly. There was construction in the area which made finding the property a bit confusing but it's very close to the train station which was helpful. The area seemed pretty safe during the day, but a bit sketchy at night. The breakfast was great, everything fresh and tasty.

Was a very good hotel, conveniently to transportation and a helpful staff.

The hotel is beside of road. Infront of the road Tram line us there which is very noisy

Overall the property was very comfortable and clean. My group enjoyed the stay. The staff were professional and helpful. I appreciated the small touches like the Belgian candies (“Cuberdon”) that were left for us in the room. The bathroom was very clean and the room had a nice and functional design. They store luggage for you which is very convenient but you put the luggage inside the room yourself which in my opinion is not very secure. Then they give you a bag check ticket. The hotel is small and has a small elevator. There was a coffee machine in the room and a few teas (but no kettle so I think you need to request that from the front desk). The area surrounding the hotel does not seem very safe especially at night. I never went back to the hotel particularly late but it just has an unsafe vibe unfortunately. It’s the area next to the train station (Brussels Midi station). Being that close to the station was very convenient however, for catching IC trains as well as the Eurostar)
