Trash I would never stay there and hope nobody else does

The shower area in my room was probably the most off putting thing i've ever experienced in a hotel. And that's saying a lot.

The only inconvenience was having to change rooms because first room was 80degrees and thermostat wouldn’t switch to a/c. Vivian was quick to address this issue and changed our room and personally delivered the new room key to us. She is an absolute asset to Wyndom. She is a fine example of hospitality.

We were immediately impressed when we walked into the lobby. Was a very pretty and very clean. Check-in was easy and the gentleman checking us in couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. It did cost $10 to park for our stay. There is a parking garage hooked onto the hotel. Our room was very nice with a mini fridge microwave and a coffee pot. The beds were very comfortable. The room was a bit dated, but it was clean and nice. There is a fantastic bar hooked onto the hotel that serves great food. There is a breakfast buffet for $15 which was so nice. The tables had linen napkins and real silverware, not the plastic stuff. The food on the buffet was very hot and plenty of choices, including scrambled eggs, gravy, and biscuits, potatoes, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, and so much more’On the other side of the hotel there is a Starbucks. The pool was very clean and looked inviting, and the workout area served its purpose but probably could use an update. I don’t understand the poor reviews!. Every single staff member we encountered could not have been nicer or more helpful. Overall, I thought the hotel seemed very clean, despite some reviews stating otherwise. I would stay here again without any issues.. Reviewers complained the elevator were slow, but we did not encounter that at all.

Nice hotel and next door to the venue we went to one night. At first we thought the neighborhood was a little iffy but turned out to be quite central to them Lincoln Home National Historic Site--where we also found a great place for food, so good we went back twice.

Update everything

The place was infested with bed bugs, blood stains on the sheets and pillow cases along with holes in the walls. After being there for an hour i requested a refund and went to another hotel.

The check-in was unpleasant. After driving 3 hours I had to wait while the front desk guy was holding an phone call interview and I had to wait about 10 mins for him to conclude the call when he saw he walk up & could have easily put the call on hold while I checked into my room. The room was absolutely disgusting and the carpet smelled old. The walls had stains, carpets had dirt all over the room, bed sheets had stains, desk chair had stale embedded French fries, the windows although the view would have been great was over shadowed by thick dirt on them. Overall, I would never stay here again.

Do not book any events, conferences, stays, etc. with this hotel. There is significant work that needs to be done within this particular Wyndham property. If bookings continue to fall short, management will be force (shouldn't be) to correct problems of this property. Please consider your employees who depend on management's vision to make things better.

Over all, my stay was pleasant. However, the price for the room was too high. The carpet, the linen, and the mattresses are old. The bathroom needs to be updated and the building looses water pressure in the shower, only in the mornings.
