Days Hotel Tagaytay

The bad experience in this hotel is the hotel name and location map which we are looking based on your name in your website DAYS INN Tagaytay. We are in Tagaytay at around 3pm looking for the location and even asking for help even in the police station but they cannot locate it. As per the police and some other people, there is no such name of the hotel DAYS INN in TAgaytay. We are about to go home already at around 7:30pm, until we saw this last hotel near Tagaytay Silang rotonda named DAYS Hotel. I tried to ask them if is the same with the voucher were holding. As per the guard it is the same because of the picture but he's not sure until we check with their reservation counter if we have a booking with them. This caused us a big hassle going around back and forth trying to find this wrong name of hotel and wrong location map in your website. We almost check in late because of this hassle that caused us.

We arrived late from a wedding in Laguna, we have booked this hotel to stay overnight after the wedding. When we arrive around 9 pm, reception told me that there is an acoustic band playing. I said thanks for the info, yet i wanted a nice room for me to sleep as i am heavily pregnant. When we arrive at the room, they assigned us a room on the lowest floor, fronting the acoustic band. I immediately called reception that i cannot sleep with the noise so the reception moved us to a higher floor, which made it okay. Room is a good size and clean. However, the pillow was huge and hard that I had a stiff neck the next day. Breakfast choices were just okay. Nothing really fantastic. The view is okay, everywhere you can only see a partial view of the taal. The hotel is a bit old, and my hubby noticed they placed a cloth in the ceiling to catch the wood debris. The green curtains in the restaurant makes it look more old. There is no wifi in the rooms. And the wifi in the lobby is very slow compared to other hotels in the Philippines. The staffs are helpful. I think this hotel just needs a refurbishment because it could look much better. Aside from that, all is just okay.

Quite a discomfort, when we checked inn, there are no towels in the room and we have to call and asked a number of times, only to get a reply that there are no available towels and it is still being hanged up for drying. secondly, we were called while we are doing our trip around the city to be informed that we have to be transferred to another room as the A/C of our room is due for preventive maintenance, although we've been transferred accordingly to an upgraded room? but our tour was cut short of their incompetence and my kid`s joy was cut short.

Accomodating staff

Hotels needs renovation. Must change carpets. Poor customer service. The waiters are very good though.

Very accommodating staff. It has a great view of the Taal Volcano. The hotel is old and needs renovation or maybe repainting to make it more appealing to the guests.

Accommodating hotel staff. Good breakfast buffet. Older facilities but very clean rooms with comfy beds. Extremely convenient location in Tagaytay just off the main road with a beautiful view!

Hotel needs improvement in general. Very nice location.

Expectations from such kind of hotel were not met. Standard set of towels should have been provided by default. Only bath towels were provided. You have to request the hand towels and face towels. Poor lighting in the bath area. No parking available for pregnant guests. The available parking areas left are already far from the hotel, located at the overlooking part of their property. It was very difficult for me to go up and down that parking area. Checkin was very slow. Other guests behind us were accommodated ahead of us. Expect heavy traffic during holidays.
