Hotel Fleur De Lys

Amazing little hotel on the heart of the city. Extremely clean and the staff is simply amazing. The location cannot be beat and a very safe area.

This is place made me think of Harry Potter. I love Harry Potter! I looked for ghosts but didn't find any. Great location.

I liked it, cool old Victorian style house in a convenient location in the center of San Jose. You can walk around, stores, restaurants, museums no problem getting to. The free breakfast was tasty offered plenty to choose from, the cook named doña Vicky was just amazing thanks Vicki!! The bartender was also on top of his game A+ service. The room was small, fan was squeaking & the bed was so- so but I can overlook these issues considering the price. Will stay here again

I was a little worried about the neighborhood when the uber pulled up but we didn't encounter any problems. Overall I was really pleased. The hotel is a 100 year old house and the rooms, while small, are charming and super clean. The bed was comfortable and plenty of pillows and towels. It really had more of the feel of Costa Rica as opposed to the big hotel chains. I would definitely stay there again

Very pretty small boutique hotel. Staff wonderful and helpful. Public areas were very nice. We at first had a room that had no windows and barely any room to move around in. They were very nice and gave us a much better room. Our room was very average. Could use a bit of love. Bathroom clean but needs redoing as it’s getting a bit old and fixtures need spiffing up.

I have never left a negative review in my life but I feel it is my duty to warn future potential customers to avoid this place. The employees are incredibly rude and unhelpful (take a look at how they argue with customers on review sites just as an example). The location is good, except for the fact that it is so dangerous that they need to keep the front gate and door locked 24/7. The rooms are tiny and lack AC, and are subpar compared to even the worst motels in the US. If you’re coming from the states, you will be very uncomfortable at this “hotel”. At check in they give our earplugs to mask the sound of the train that runs starting at 5:30am. The free parking is a lie, they don’t offer free parking. AVOID THIS PLACE. It should be taken off hotels.com.
