Hyatt Regency Newport Beach

What a nice hotel and resort in Newport Beach, CA. Lots of amenities for which there is a surcharge but, if you have the time to take a bike ride or play pickle ball, you're all set. Three pools too! Service is great. The cost is not on the cheap side but worth it.

Waiters and other staff were very nice, kind and professional. Garden is very nice, colorful, and it’snice to walk around and enjoy the sun.

Very old rooms, urgently need renovation. Windows were bad, carpet was old and stinky, ceilings are pretty low - for taller individuals not the most comfortable place to stay. Although the breakfast was included in the room rate, there is no regular breakfast served, you have to pay everything separately. It was cold despite I turned on the heating. When you ask for coffee, they serve it in a disposable cup!

Large rooms. Convenient location and friendly staff. The amenities at this location also very good such as restaurant, food, options, bar, etc.

Overall we had a very nice stay. The staff was incredible the property is immaculate and the location is perfect! My ONLY complaint is that the property is in desperate need of renovation. We stayed in the Lido building and it is incredibly old! This building really gives motel vibes! For the property to be in heart of Newport Beach, this particular building within this hotel falls below standard in comparison to the overall community. Again, I had a great stay but the Lido building within this property is long overdue for a renovation. The internet gives a false impression of this hotel!

More modern room and amenities.

One of my favorite hotel resorts. Beautiful landscaping and classy. Nearby a great running trail along back bay. Cool ocean breezes. Large pool for lap swimming. Superb French cuisine inspired meals in the hotel’s Shor restaurant. Will definitely stay again when in town visiting family.

The hotel has a large, well-maintained property and a great location. There is a big pool area with a kids’ slide and a play zone, which is perfect for families The staff was friendly and professional - service at breakfast was especially good, and any questions we had were handled quickly and efficiently. The food at the restaurant was also very good

The rooms are quite small for this type of hotel. There is no drying rack or convenient place to dry swimwear after using the pool Although the pools are heated, the water temperature still felt lower than expected. And judging by other guests’ reactions, we were not the only ones who felt this way There is a large parking area with plenty of spaces, but it is still charged separately at $40 per day, which feels excessive Overall, the price-to-quality ratio did not meet our expectations

Cleanliness and the staff. All staff were kind and friendly. Having to come the area to have a surgical procedure and being nervous was nerve wracking. But every single person I spoke to helped me relax and didn’t know what a positive experience the provided for me. Easy to get to.

Needs renovation. Was like a motel 6 but expensive

The grounds and the room were great.

The night I checked in I had just driven five hours and wanted a nice meal in my room. I ordered my favorite chicken dish and it was burnt and dry. Only 20 percent of the meat was edible. Completely unacceptable.
