Beautiful spacious room and unique terrace with a sea view which was outstanding.

My husband and I came for our honeymoon. Had the best experience possible. Everyone is super friendly. The most helpful. Karen, Martha and Alexander couldn’t have made our trip anymore pleasant. We will definitely be back . Drinks, food, staff of guru were on top

Great location, the staff is lovely!

My husband and I came here to celebrate 10 yeas together. Before we even arrived Alexander was reaching out to assist with transportation to the island, checking to see if it was a special event, and how can they make our stay more pleasurable. Since we were already on the island from a different event, we drove the golf cart over where we were met by Alexander and Karen. Our golf cart was taken care of while we got checked in. We got a complimentary drink and then shown to our room, where we found it decorated for our anniversary. ♥️♥️♥️. Our room was ready early so that there was no wait. Moving along we were given a quick tour of the attached property, Guru Beach Club, once we came down. Alexander was quick to state: you are here to be pampered. ♥️ Over the course of our 5.5 day stay we met Fernando, Camilla, Juan, Mau, Aryan, Clara, Christian, and a few more but forgot their names. :-(. We met other guests that call Isla Mujeres and the Lotus/Guru their second home. Not only was the staff EXTREMELY attentive and friendly, no one who was returning had anything negative to say about any of their trips. This place is so amazing I will be returning in January for a few days. Here are the quick pro’s and very minor feedback: PRO’S Small boutique hotel Attentive service Spacious rooms Pool option Beach Option Beginners snorkeling area on site You could eat there each day - all day. Not just basic boring resort food. Great drinks - and willing to make specialty cocktails not on menu Massage place next door. Owned by same owners just different staff, also wonderful Access to beach areas to other resorts for additional food and fun options Beach area to watch sunrise and sunsets. Safe to go for walks at night. Guru beach club closes early. I took this as a blessing as otherwise we would have heard music and people in our room. Close walk to clubs nearby. Stingray’s ended up being our favorite after walking the local shopping area. Close walk to some amazing restaurants. CON’s/VERY Minor Feedback One night only we ran out of hot water in shower area. But our jacuzzi tub had plenty. Never had an issue after that. Need a little better lighting at sink area for putting on makeup. LOL! The sink layout, no matter how slight you turn on the water, splashes your clothes. Just chose to get dressed after I was done at the sink. Music from nearby resorts could be heard until about 11pm on Friday and Saturday only.

The location is amazing, the staff is excellent, food fresh and delicious. We had a wonderful experience twice this year. I can wait to go back 🌞

Close to everything right on the beach

How close to the beach and the strip in Playa Norte. Each room has a designated Chakra color. The staff, especially Alexander and Karen, went above and beyond with recommendations, accommodations, and flexibility. The entire staff was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and kind. I appreciated the details Alexander put to make my birthday special. We also did thenRomantic Dinner. The food was AMAZING, with a beautiful view, and impeccable service. Please don't over think it. Book here! You won't regret it and you'll definitely feel relaxed.

Very nice room with a wonderful plunge pool facing the beach. The beach was also very nice, perfect for simming.

My brother bought a bottle of Moet & Chandon to our room, as a gift to us celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary there. He paid for it, received a picture from a true M&C in a cooler. However we only received a local sparking wine in the cooler. Penny wise, pound foolish…. why…
