Bahia Tolok

The hotel was beautiful. The scenery was awesome from my room. The bed was comfortable. Hotel stuff was excellent.The young man at front desk was very kind when we asked questions about different things. The hotel also stored our luggage while we toured the island.The restaurant staff had excellent recommendations, and the chef came out and talked with us about the exquisite dishes that he had prepared. All the dishes were delicious..

So when I booked the hotel, I didn't realize that I had made accommodations for one. When I got there, the staff pointed out that there was an extra charge for another person ($35). Typically, it is assumed that it's two people for the price you're seeing on screen. (Booking, please fix this with the hotel.) They hotel didn't mention in it's extra part that they had golf carts for rental, which would have saved me the hassle of renting one by ferry. Also, why was the hotel golf carts the same price to rent as the one by ferry. I my opinion this should have been a little cheaper (Bahia Tolok correct this). No robes in my suite, which it would have been nice.

Pros: The room was very nice and tastefully designed! The salt water pool was very relaxing. We had an amazing fish dinner at the restaurant that is adjoining and the waiter was fantastic! The dock was beautiful and we were able to see lots of ocean life. Cons: One of the front desk workers was not the kindest - seemed put off when we asked for anything. The free breakfast is a choice of eggs with sausage, pancakes or a fruit plate - it was definitely not enough to fill a belly but was still nice. Would be nice to offer more breakfast options. The view is nice but note that the water has heavy vegetation and so the crystal clear waters that you see for Isla Mujeres will not translate the same in the bay.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The room was great and the bed was super comfy. Our free waterfront breakfast was delightful, though I would avoid the sausage, unless you like hot dogs. Ernesto at the front desk was very accommodating and very helpful with everything from supplying towels to providing useful suggestions.

Vraiment un bel emplacement! Tranquille, bon petit resto sur place. Le personnel attentionné! Nous avons eu un enjeu au départ sur le fait que c’était un forfait déjeuner inclus, mais Hôtel.com et le Bahia Tolok ont réglé ça rapidement. Location sur place du kart de golf un atout!! Près de tout!! Nous avions la chambre penthouse et nous avions une section privée avec piscine sur le toit à nous seuls incluant un balcon immense!! On recommande très fortement! Et en plus, un membre du personnel nous a fait 2 lifts lorsque nous n’avions pas le kart de golf, incluant notre changement d’hôtel à Isla Mujeres! Fantastique!!!

Super friendly and helpful staffs, beautiful view and spacious room with kitchen. Splendid and clean room. Quiet environment compared to downtown. Very recommended!!

A little bit far from the pier and downtown, 15-20min foot from the pier to the hotel, but you can also rent golf cars or motor if you have license and take a taxi if no license. So it doesn’t really matter:)
