"Perfect first night of a short holiday"

Lovely building very spacious room . Helpful and friendly staff . Great pub food evening meal . The location above the viaduct is perfect for walking.

The staff are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Food was very good and cooked fresh to order. Very clean and comfortable too. Beautiful views looking over Monsal Head.

It is need of upgrading. Could do with sprucing up particularly on the outside of the building.

"Disappointing for the price"

The location - it was an old favourite and we were awash with nostalgia and looking forward to sharing a special place with an overseas visitor

It’s run down and tired. The dinner menu was very limited and the kitchen shut at 19:30
