"The Hotel was helpful to us in our need for an early check in and its location/ views are amazing."

The breakfast was first rate and the location outstanding!

It turned out to be cold for the tie of year and the heating did not come on. It would have been too cold for a shower! The exterior of the hotel could do with a lick of paint and repairs to woodwork!

"Brilliant!"

The hotel location was perfect! We were doing the monsal trail and the hotel was along the track so we just went down a little track next to the car park and was on the trail. The room had an amazing view of the hills and fields, we also got to watch the sunset from our bedroom window.

Fabulous breakfast...lots of choice and delicious

Would have liked better pillows and a warmer duvet...and some coathangers!!

"Really lovely place to stay but the condition of rooms needs improvement - too expensive at present."

The location was incredible - spectacular views from the rooms

The bay windows are rotting - unable to open windows and there is a lot of damp. Really in need of significant work to justifiably command the price being charged per room.
