Motel 6 Charlotte, NC – Airport South

Very bad. They gave me a non-smoking room, but it smelled terrible with the smoke. I asked to change the room, so they changed it. I felt little better, but after sometime, especially during night, it smelled with the smoke. I couldn’t sleep properly due to this. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Fine for the price. Breakfast was not great, just not a lot of options.

The only downfall was the room smelled funny when I first arrived.

domestic violence, drug deals and an unneutered pitbull all on my floor. After we moved rooms, the new room smelled strongly of smoke and we had to move again. We were there for 3 nights. i would have left but we had prepaid and couldn't get our money back. Finally on our 3rd night security did something and some of the perpetrators were evicted. The security men did NOTHING the first 2 nights and didn't even set foot on our floor. The ladies at the front desk tried to be accomodating.

It was a good location and I liked the door lock for the refreshment area and also for the steps outside the building it made us feel more secure

No amenities available at all. Plenty of drug users in the area.

One of the girls at the counter was really helpful and made the best she could to make my stay as comfortable as it could. Best thing of this hotel is that breakfast is included. Some other staff wasn't polite enough. The man in charge of the hotel shuttle looked mad and made some rude comments. The room was fine, but the outside of the hotel was a disaster.

While the staff was helpful and polite, the property itself was another story. As soon as we pulled in we saw what appeared to be a homeless man removing lots of bags and property from a vehicle. On the other side of the parking lot were a group of men inside a pick up truck making cat calls at us. The area itself looked rundown and seedy. We pretty much didn't sleep our one night there and couldn't wait to leave early the next morning.

Location was awesome. Very good for the price! Clean notel and room, and accommodating staff.

Horrible Horrible... First wi fi did not work the entire stay. I got there on a Friday and called desk who told me the internet would not be up until the following Tuesday. Housekeepers only cleaned out room one the entire stay..we ran out of towels and tissue and front desk said that we had to pick it up ourselves. Front desk staff was very rude and nasty. Drug addicts all around the place. Area was so dirty. The room was extremely small and bathroom you couldn’t even move.. I will never stay here again!!!
