"Barely Average"

The hotel is centrally located, however needs some work. It's a bit dated. On several occasions we had dirty napkins/utensils/dishes and had to get them replaced when in the restaurant. The elevators sound like they need some WD40 to quiet them down when the doors close and at least the "9" button on the first elevator to the left does not light up at all. I expected alot higher quality from Renaissance.

"Not bad but not great."

This hotel seems like it used to be much nicer. The large pool was under construction, all the taps on the bar were broken (according to the bartender), the elevators were painfully slow, and the front desk help was very nice but even slower. Some things we loved-- the comfy beds, walkability. Worst part of our stay was the weird barn style bathroom doors that would keep the front door from closing.

"Cozy & festive stopover"

What a cozy and festive spot to stop over. We loved how close the hotel was to Asheville – walking distance to dinner and cocktails. The bartender was fantastic - cozy little spot to end the evening with a cocoa (not on the menu but specially made!). Enjoyed the art, the view, and the food (try the breakfast omelet bar) and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. Highly recommend!
