Hampton Inn Harrisonburg - University

Loved the location. Close to everything. The staff was very accommodating and professional. I was especially appreciative of Nichole who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She runs a great team there!

We stay at Hilton properties all across America. I was very disappointed in this hotel. Everything is old and rundown. We could only get a few channels on the TV and the others did not work or said unavailable. Because carpets and furniture are so old and worn, they are not clean. The bed was also very uncomfortable. I would not recommend it or stay here again. If I had seen the room first, I would not have stayed.

Terrible experience. The room was dirty when we arrived, and the bed sheets clearly looked like they had not been changed. Cleanliness was a major issue. Breakfast was extremely poor, with very limited options and low quality. On top of that, they charged me for three rooms instead of one, even though I had canceled the extra rooms on time through Booking. The staff was not helpful and the overall service was very disappointing. The location was also not good. The night before, other guests were complaining about bugs in their rooms, which made the situation even worse. Overall, this was a very unpleasant stay and I would not recommend this hotel.

This Hampton needs to be either torn down, gutted and remodeled or burnt down. It’s an unbelievable that Hampton has allowed this hotel to deteriorate to this point, I have to say it is the worst Hampton I’ve stayed in the last 10 years. Never again will I stay here. Housekeeping should be all terminated! The filth in hotel is everywhere. Stay away from this one!

I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy, I request connecting rooms to be near my elderly mother and son. When I got there , my rooms were down the hall from each other not to mention the shower was cold and never got hot. The next night, I was promised a room by the manager for the room next to my mother. Lo and behold when I got back from the waterpark, they said someone else booked my room. First and foremost why didn’t they hold the room for me, Was someone trying be funny? Stay at the another brand, the Hilton Hotels sucks.

I didn’t like much may location

Run down . College kids all hanging out in lobby kids running the halls late at night . The actual lighting in our room was broken so we barely had light it was awful.

Called ahead to book the room and despite bringing up my rewards number to the employee, I was ignored and my points were not applied. She acted very unprofessional in her responses. The hotel itself is extremely crummy for being a Hampton in. Everything is pretty run down and not well taken care of. I would recommend the clarion pointe or Fairfield just up the road.

Breakfast was good.

Facility was a bit dated; one of the elevators was down.
