Review for Sonesta ES Suites Atlanta - Perimeter Center North I used to have a great experience with Sonesta Suites and often recommended it to friends and family. However, my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I booked a room for two friends, providing their information and requesting an early check-in, which the hotel confirmed would not be an issue. However, when my guests arrived, there were no rooms available for the regular check-in time. After attending their event, they tried to check in later that evening, only to find there was no record of their reservation. I had to drive to the hotel in the middle of the night to show my ID before they were allowed into their room When I checked in with them later, they described the room as being in terrible condition. The bathroom door and frame were smudged and dirty, and there were fingerprints all over. The plaster behind the doorknob was damaged, the tub was stained, the walls looked dirty, and the carpet was both stained and shredded. It was clear that the hotel is in desperate need of maintenance and a thorough cleaning. Overall, this experience has left me feeling very disappointed, and I cannot recommend Sonesta Suites anymore. It’s unfortunate to see a place that once provided excellent service fall into such disrepair and mismanagement.

This is a poor example of a hotel. My wife and I had reservations for a business trip arriving January 13 departing January 19th. When we arrived, we were told by the person at the front desk that the hotel changed ownership and that the amenities are no longer given. There was no breakfast, wifi, workout room. This change of ownership the week prior to our arrival. We wouldn't have made reservations to this hotel if this happened! We had to get coffee, glasses and other items to make this our stay work for us. Not to mention we had to go grocery shopping to get our breakfast meals.

They said they were short staff & the service & amenities were horrible

From the outside the property looked presenting. When we arrived at our unit there was dirty towels, sheets, shower curtain etc at the front door of our unit. When entering it smelled of smoke and the carpet was dirty. The bathroom smelled like backed up sewage and the bath tub was dirty and the paint was peeling. There were no towels and when ask why I was told they were being washed. The bed was not so comfortable and need king size pillows. If using kitchen bring your own supplies pot and pans, utensils, paper goods, dishwashing liquid, dish towel etc. Prepare to be charged 10 for parking which was not mentioned at time of check in. Things I was pleased with was the size of the unit and how quiet it was.

The room had a bad pet odor and the carpet had several visible stains. We had to clean, disinfect and deodorize the whole room.

After the keycard didn't work on the first room and the second room stank if cugar smoke we decided not to stay. The property looked rundown and sketchy and nothing like the photos.

This place is nothing like the pictures online. Rooms are old and smelly, there is NO free breakfast unless you consider coffee breakfast lol. And the kitchen has no oven, and literally no kitchen items. We had to go out and buy everything. 2 forks and 1 knife and 4 plates. No bowls, pans etc. The only good thing was the location of this hotel. Lots of shady business in the parking lot as well. No elevators so make sure you ask for bottom floor otherwise your dragging your suitcase to the top lol.

The room was terrible, water was leaking in the midnight from the top of ceiling in the bathroom. Fire alarm was dangling on the ceiling. Will never book again

This is one of the worst places to stay. The receptionist didn’t let us check in to the hotel.
