Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino

We had a great family vacation. The Hyatt Regency Aruba is in a great location within walking distance to several shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beach was nice and calm easy to swim. The pools were also nice. The resort garden is beautiful we enjoyed visiting with the parrots on site.

We are a family that went to Cancun twice a year but decided to try Aruba since “no one ever says anything bad about Aruba”. So our first day we couldn’t understand what was so alluring about this small island but as the week went on, we knew exactly what everyone was talking about. Staying at the Hyatt made this trip perfect because its location was right in the middle of the strip so we can walk left or walk right and not feel so exhausted. We were right across or besides so many restaurants so never needed to taxi anywhere. The snorkel excursions took off right at the beach so we didn’t need to go too far, the Jungle tour picked us up right at the hotel. While the Hyatt is not an all incisive like a typical Cancun hotel it did force us to be thoughtful in our food choices so we didn’t stuff ourselves and we did alot of walking which helped keep us healthy. Overall Hyatt was wonderful and Aruba is magical. We will definitely be returning.

Go to the Ritz if you are looking for luxury. The Hyatt needs a lot of help in customer service and hospitality training. The staff seemed happy to provide poor service.

Aruba Hyatt is the Best Hotel Ever! We have travelled many places and luckily found many great spots in the last 3+ Decades, but OUR FAVORITE is the Aruba Hyatt Regency and we have literally stayed there over 20 times! Great Views, Grounds, Restaurant, Staff etc..

The entire stay was terrific. Not one negative thing. An amazing, convenient location. Hotel conditions top notch; well maintained. Staff made us feel like we were the most important people on the island.

Older property in need of renovation, very crowded, food was hit and miss. Staff was absolutely delightful though and the location is great if you want to be able to walk to shops & restaurants. Grounds are beautiful if cramped.

Beautiful, Clean , everything that you need was there

We visited for a family vacation and found the property itself to be pristine and well-maintained—the sunsets here are truly spectacular. However, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The resort restaurants were disappointing; we found the food relatively tasteless and significantly overpriced compared to local spots outside the gates, where the quality was much higher. Another surprise was the chair reservation system. While it's nice knowing you don’t have to rush out at 5:00 AM to claim a spot, having to book and pay for beach or pool chairs in advance felt like an unnecessary extra cost. The absolute highlight was the Kids Club. The staff was incredibly caring, and my son loved going every day. They offered fantastic activities, from feeding parrots and fish to making stuffed animals and tie-dye shirts. While we enjoyed our stay, the current pricing for next winter and spring is significantly higher than last year. Because of the increased costs and the dining issues, we’ve decided to explore other options for our next trip.

Just got back from fabulous trip. excellent location, amenities. Staff was wonderful. hate to write this but did have one issue which almost caused me to miss going to a wonderful restaurant to celebrate my birthday. changed my mind at last minute where to celebrate based on recommendations. i couldn't book online or get through to restaurant prior to leaving. However, upon arrival i asked if they can give it try. the response i got was "its impossible to get a reservation at last minute and nobody picks up the phone". i tried myself when i got to the room... guess what someone DID pickup the phone AND i got a reservation on my birthday! I would not consider this a deal break and will book again. However i do think this person should of at least made an attempt to try and get a reservation. The rest of the staff was extremely helpful.
