Always a clean room & friendly, helpful sauce. Very comfortable bed & room in a great part of town

good location but still not very close to water. That was ok as it was walkable. Close to Harris Teeter and Trader Joes so you can grab something quick. Great customer service. Sophia welcomed us with a smile and all other staff was also as welcoming. Our package included $25 for breakfast for two daily and half price parking. They have other specials as well based on what works for you. Room was comfortable with all amenities in smaller room. We had a nice little bedroom though there was no balcony which was noted in room description or we missed it. Nice little bathroom with a great powerful shower and all clean supplies. Welcome water and fruits for guests. Breakfast was ok but Ravi Singh provided excellent customer service and made us feel at home. Buffet or continental breakfast was average but pancakes and waffles were great. I wish we didn’t have to buy Starbucks though and not sure why all Marriott hai s have Starbucks. There coffee is horrible. I suggest walking around town and reading history specially horrible history of slavery and brutality towards African Americans and jail where they were kept which is now turned into town homes. It is a great lesson in painful history of town.

Arrived onsite, receptionist stated that Expedia and them have had some issues with booking. I had booked a room with a balcony, they gave me a regular room but they ended up correcting the issue once I showed them my confirmation. Very clean, very nice, very polite. Would book again.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, rooms very clean and comfortable

At check-in, I was obligated to purchase a $25 voucher that can only be used at the hotel restaurant. I had already eaten dinner and will be departing early, so the voucher is useless. I explained this to the front desk at check in, but they said it was a new policy. I told them that this was not revealed to me at the time I booked the room. They responded that it was because I used Expedia. So, I'm out $25. It's not so much the money, but more about truth in advertising. Please advise.Thanks in advance.

Працював тільки один ліфт із двох, тому трішки задовго було очікування. Пляшка води в номері коштувала 8 дол. Немає міні бару.

Modern, lovely room. Small but had what we needed for an adult and 3 kids.

1 Elevator wasn’t working, front staff could use some hospitality training, parking was tough for a large suv.
