Location and staff

Room was a bit run down, slow running cistern, wobbly powerpoint. Included breakfast was a let down, would be better option to have breakfast off site.

The staff was very helpful The bed was comfortable

The shower was above the bath They should take showers out of a couple of rooms and offer people a shower no bath and see off this is popular

"Excellent, I love the Grand Hotels history and charm."

Very comfortable large bed with good linen. Good water pressure. Good quality toilet paper.

There was no information on local attractions in the room. There was no room service information in the room. The menus in the dining room were on sheets of paper which had been reused, and often crumpled or grubby. It would cost very little to remedy this.
