Crowne Plaza Englewood by IHG

Room was very clean and nice.

The breakfast was pricey for a small selection of items. Staff could not tell us what we could do in Englewood or nearby that would be fun, i.e. we found out later that the American Dream Mall is close by and we would have loved that. We were there for a concert at the Bergen PAC and they couldn't even tell us how to get there.

I liked the convenience of the location, close to malls and restaurants, and not far from the GW bridge, and .the fact that the hotel has a little store at the front for essentials was a plus.

The first room that was given had a bad smell, the second room that was given, the bathroom was not very clean, there was a roach crawling along the walls in the bathroom, the carpet is old and holds a smell, the room in its entirety was dated. Also there was only one elevator working.

Easy check in, clean and well appointed room.

Walls were kind of thin, I could hear the people talking in the next room late into the night. They wanted to charge $20 for a buffet breakfast.

Location was perfect, for the event I had to attend. Just one mile around the corner. Snow storm. Staff were up during night clearing the parking lot.

50.00 deposit took almost a month to be removed from my card.

Reception was excellent
