Homewood Suites by Hilton Kansas City/Overland Park

The room and kitchen was really big, I did not care for the breakfast. Good location.

This will be the only place I stay when I am in KC

Hotel was clean and comfy. Didn’t utilize amenities so can’t comment to those. The not issue we had was weird smell in the hallway on our floor and the elevator was out of service on our departure day. We know mechanical issues are no fault of the hotel so no big deal, just made it a pain to get our luggage out.

The room was clean and very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was included, and it was the standard included hotel breakfast with additions. They had some salso and chorizo and chicken. It was a pleasant suprise and delicious.

Rooms are clean, albeit a little dated. Staff was polite and pleasant during our 2 night stay. Breakfast options were varied and well-prepared. Would not rate it quite 5 stars, but I can’t give it 4.5, hence the 4 Star rating. For the price, it was well above average.

We loved our vacation to Kansas City and Overland Park! The hotel was great. Worked out well. One thing I would say is the suites or at least ours could use and new loveseat. It was not that comfy. Breakfast was awesome! And also done well. Welcoming front lobby. We were a bit disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not open. I would have thought at least the hot tub would have been available. I think we may have booked a VRBO had we known that.

We had to book here at truly last-minute (because a neighboring Hilton figured it was okay to give a Diamond member the worst room in the hotel; tsk, tsk) — and to the rescue came Ana on the front desk and via telephone GM Kimberly. So very, very appreciated. And when we did some research, we discovered we were here in 2018 and our review then said all the same things: This Homewood is excellent! The windows open for a breeze at night… the business center works… the gym is on both sides of the 1st floor hallway, so there are machines, free weights, even a scale for everyone… breakfast is fantastic: Chobani yogurts, scrambled eggs/egg pockets, bacon, a taco/burrito bar with all the fixings, overnight oatmeal, breads/bagels and a basket of apples/oranges/bananas. Rooms are spotless and spacious. The location is a comforting and quiet oasis. You’ll even receive a text upon getting into your room to see how everything is. What a lucky break we got coming back to this A+++ hotel. Thank you again, Ana and GM Kimberly! You represent the very best in Hilton hospitality.

The location was the main thing we were looking for. It was close to Meshuggah Bagels, Tous Le Jour, and the Kpop gift shop! Only 25 ish minutes to the overland park arboretum. It was right off the main road for super easy access otherwise. Overall quiet location.

The toilet was finicky and got clogged, there was no plunger. The kitchen was stocked very scarcely but we made it work! The pull out couch was a perk but the couch itself could be more comfortable.

Friendly and helpful front staff. Not just your standard breakfast items, they also had ingredients to make a chicken type burrito that was excellent. Quiet area a couple of blocks off I-435 with access to Kansas City's many attractions. Clean rooms and lobby area.

The hotel is updated and in a decent area with easy access to I-435 with lots of shopping and food options near by. Their breakfast had a wide variety and it was well kept. Selam did a great job in helping us take care of any needs and she is much appreciated. They’re lucky to have her! Overall a great place to stay.
