Homewood Suites by Hilton Kansas City/Overland Park

I love the pillows. They are the fluffiest ones I’ve ever felt and I love the free snacks in the lobby. The customer service is superb. Upon checkin we were greeted with friendly and considerate service. The fitness area is clean and equipped with a great variety of machines and equipment. This is the best hotel I can say I’ve ever stayed at in my life. Five stars voted gold like 10 stars. I love this place. We just went to an Ethiopian place and their food was delicious.

We had a nice 2 night stay at this property. Check in was quick and easy. We like the layout of the room (suite w/fireplace) since the bathroom was separate from the bedroom. It was clean and comfortable, although the strong odor of cleaning solution never seemed to dissipate. It's one of the few hotel showers I've seen that didn't have any mildew spots. There was a bright light from the outside that wasn't blocked well by the window shade......I had to use a towel. The fitness center was a little larger than average since they use two rooms, one for cardio and one for weights......an excellent idea. Breakfast was standard for Homewood and the Wednesday reception was nice. We would go back.

Clean, quiet, fantastic free breakfast. And the staff was the best!

The rooms are spacious and clean. They have great staff and yummy cookies for dinner some times! And they allow dogs so that was my favorite thing is that my dog could come with me! And their pool! I live hanging out there when possible! And I loved being in a room so I could see my car.

We checked into the Homewood Suites in Kansas City/Overland Park at 9pm on 4/26/25. Right away, we heard a noisy group gathered right outside our window. Our room was adjacent to the pool and BBQ area, and there were several guys drinking beer and talking loudly. At 11pm, I called the front desk about the noise. They said they'd take care of it, but it kept going. At 11:30pm, I contacted the front desk, and they said they'd talk to the group again. At 12am, I told the front desk I was going to say something myself since they weren't doing anything. I opened the window and yelled at the group to shut up. Then I turned on the AC fan and put in earbuds to block out the noise. I finally fell asleep but woke up around 2:30am because they were still out there talking loudly. I called the front desk and asked why people would be allowed to be so loud at a hotel in the middle of the night. They said they'd handle it. The noise quieted down after a few minutes, and I went back to sleep. Around 6:30am, I woke up to someone yelling so loudly outside my door that I thought they might have actually been in my room. I couldn't understand what they said, but it jolted me awake. As I walked to the door in the dark, I could see the shadow of feet moving next to the door. This person started messing with the door handle, so I held it shut because I didn't know if they had gotten a keycard to gain access. The person then yelled, "if you ever do that again, you’ll die," and ran off. I then looked through the peephole, but they were gone. I called the front desk again to tell them what just happened and asked if they had security cameras. They said they did, but no one there could access the footage. I told them they needed to call the police, but I didn't think they would. So, I called the police myself. When the police arrived, I told them everything that had happened, and they said they would look into it. About 30 minutes later, the police came back and said they talked to the front desk and the people who are suspected to have done this. The police said the people were drunk and denied everything. They also said they'd have to come back when they could see the video but that I should complain to the hotel about how they handled the whole situation. When we checked out, the apology wasn't very sincere. The person at the desk said they tell guests about quiet hours, but some people don't listen. I think this hotel doesn’t enforce their rules effectively, and the way the rooms are set up makes it hard to ensure a quiet stay even if you choose a larger suite. Stay here at your own risk.

Everything is perfect. My msg to the manager: there is a small crack in the sink of bathroom. Your staffs should report to you for fixing. The suite is very good although we didn't have chance to enjoy the kitchen

Twinkle gave great customer service and the room was very clean. Breakfast was unique and very good. The room was spacious and well insulated from noise. They had self serve beer and wine, if you like that. The bed was very comfortable and the living room had a couch and chair.

Nice clean updated hotel. Great breakfast the staff was friendly. Parking is a bit tight. The area around the hotel is quite. Lots of things to do around the hotel. Nice workout rooms never seen a hotel with two rooms. I would stay again if I was back in the area.
