"Mixed feelings"

We had a family reunion with 5 rooms for 4 nights each. The experiences in our rooms varied from issues with cleanliness, room temperature and service. We had MANY issues, but the staff did work to solve our problems each time. We enjoyed the café in the mornings, and the service in the bar was top notch. Denise was so friendly and made amazing drinks. She brings her own mixology supplies and made my brother the best Old Fashioned he's ever had. Denise is the hidden gem of the Riverwalk Plaza Hotel!

"BAR IS AMAZING"

STRICTLY GO TO THE BAR, to say the least the bar is the best part of the hotel. Beds are comfortable I will say but the cleanliness is in doubt for sure. Shirley timples are amazing. River access is perfect

"Denise made our trip!"

The location is great and the value is excellent. A highlight of our experience was Denise at the Gavel bar. Her Old Fashioned i(get it smoked) s legendary and she made us really feel at home! She gets ten stars!!! We will be back.

"Good with a few disappointments"

One big reason I went with the presidential suite was for the jet tub that I read and saw in the photos when I booked the room. It would have been a lot nicer if the jets actually worked. Also the shade to the balcony was off the tracks, it took us almost 10 minutes to fix that problem. Lastly, the floors were so dusty, you could see the dust with the sunlight coming in thru the windows

"Top tier costumer service!"

I have been having a rough few days, and let me tell you as soon as I walked in and Ms Denise greeted me I felt the change in my own mood… then on top of that she made me the best Smokey old fashion I’ve had in my life!! I’m to leave my car and come on back!
