Location e atmosfera: L’hotel, pur essendo un po’ fuori dal centro, è situato in una splendida proprietà appartenente ai discendenti dell’alta società indiana. Circondato da giardini curatissimi, fontane e fiori, trasmette un’atmosfera elegante e raffinata. Design e comfort: Ambienti arredati con grande attenzione ai dettagli. La camera è enorme, con un letto molto comodo e una doccia che sembra quasi un salone. L’esperienza sfiora il livello di un 5 stelle. Colazione eccellente: Buffet ricco con opzioni salate, frutta fresca, spremute e omelette preparate al momento. A cena, per capodanno, l'ambientazione era suggestiva nel bel giardino, riscaldato da pire ardenti e accompagnato da piacevole musica dal vivo. Servizio attento, professionale e sempre cortese. Cibo buono, dai piatti principali ai dolci. Atmosfera speciale per la mezzanotte, resa ancora più unica dalla visita dei proprietari, che hanno accolto gli ospiti con eleganza e gentilezza degne della loro storia familiare quasi regale.

Posizione: L’hotel è un po’ fuori dal centro, il che può risultare meno comodo per chi desidera spostarsi a piedi in centro. Prezzo della cena: Il costo della cena (circa 17 € a persona) è elevato.

A grand hotel with well appointed rooms and good customer service. At check in and check out we had personal attention from a member of the concierge and that was really appreciated. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, plush bedding and a clean and modern bathroom with a bath. Overall a good feel with the ambience and little touches of history and tradition across the hotel. However the food options at dinner were limited (we were hoping for something special on Xmas day) and the breakfast was average I.e., same as any other hotel would offer. Hence the rating of good as opposed to excellent as expectations of an exceptional dinner from a heritage hotel were not met.

Un havre de paix, beaucoup de charme, le calme, la piscine, le très bon restaurant, la chambre très grande et très belle, le personnel très serviable et un très bon rapport qualité-prix.

Un peu loin des sites touristiques, pas de déplacement à pied.

Nothing at all

Ratan Villas is a peaceful place with comfortable rooms, with room for minor improvements to fixtures and facilities (e.g. shower temp fluctuations, loose bedside power socket etc.)

Stunning property, even nicer than in the photos. I wish we had booked it for longer than just one night.

The staff, the room and the facilities were fantastic. We loved how clean everything was. Ideal location too.

Surprisingly, the food was somewhat disappointing. Three dishes we had for dinner were rather tasteless and breakfast options were limited on 1 out of the 2 days.
