"A relaxing traditional-style stay with a lovely atmosphere"

The hotel had a really lovely atmosphere, especially the outdoor area with the foot bath, rocking chairs, and fire pit. The rooms were spacious for Japanese standards and had a nice traditional feel with tatami flooring and futon-style bedding. The onsen was excellent, and the soft yukata provided by the hotel made the experience even more relaxing. I also enjoyed a massage at the spa. Breakfast was good, with both Asian and Western options available. Overall, the hotel felt clean, organized, and very comfortable.

This is more about Hakone than the hotel itself, but the different attractions are quite spread out, so getting around requires a fair amount of bus travel and planning.
