Facilities were great, especially for families. Private onsen was a terrific experience, the whole family (with 3yo) could relax together

Lovely hotel. Lots of lovely extras available, private onsen, coffee, tea, snacks. Lovely staff.

The location is perfect. Close to Gora station ; no need to drag your luggage uphill. It's also close to the start of the cable car (Hakone Loop). We booked a standard twin room which was spacious : ample space to open your luggage. The beds are matresses on the tatami floor. USB connector next to the bed. The bathroom is modern but small. That's not really an issue as we washed ourselves in the onsens. The room rate rate gives you access, free of charge, to public and private onsens. Private onsens are on a first come, first served basis. We enjoyed them after 8 pm with max 15min waiting time. In the public onsen (separate women/men) their is an outdoor terras and a foot bath with open fire in the evening. Very nice place to relax after a day of hiking. Breakfast is delicious (between 7 and 8:30 am). Mainly Japanese but with western options. We didn't take diner. Throughout the day non-alcoholic beverages are available free of charge. After 7pm they add alcoholic beverages. From 3pm onwards there are complementary snacks.

Some variety in the snacks (we stayed three nights). I missed a power plug close to the bed.

C’était un très bon séjour. La chambre était spacieuse, l’hôtel très beau. Le Onsen était très agréable. Nous avons même testé le massage des pieds qui était très agréable

Die Gemeinschaftsräume („Bibliothek, Spielecke, Deck) sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Die kostenlose Snacks und Getränke waren eine tolle Überraschung.
