Comfort Inn Phoenix Central City

I booked a two queen room for two nights. When i arrived the front desk wanted to charge me $50 per night for each of my kids 9 and10, CASH only. When i asked him if i could pay with my card he said no, only cash. When the website clearly states kids stay free. Front desk gets angry and I became very rude and ignorant. Do not stay here, they act like they-are doing you the favor staying the night.

Sheets were soft! Beds comfy. Bigger tv than most hotels.

The room was clean but I woke up in the middle of the night to a spider crawling on my arm so that was awful because I genuinely liked the bed and the sheets. Also, the breakfast was not good at all. Not a lot of options and the batter for waffles was water thin so the waffles came out inedible. Also, no one was really paying attention to the breakfast so when there were things that were out and needed to be replenished they were not.

Couldnt turn on water in shower n it was cold.

The person at the front desk he was great! Room was clean, comfortable bed, exactly what I needed.

The hotel is very centrally located to many attractions. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The only complaint I had was a few dead bugs in the corner of the bathroom wall

The carpets could stand to be replaced. Both times I've stayed at this hotel, certain plugs didn't work in the room.

Services were down so we could not check in. We prepaid with Orbitz but with their system down we had to pay cash. When Orbitz tried to contact them they did not answer their phone. This went on for so long that it was ridiculous. We eventually were able to get a refund from Orbitz after the hotel finally responded. Wouldn’t have stayed here anyways, very disorganized and not a very nice place.

Decent location and price. Continental breakfast disappointing. No bananas or yogurt available.
