Downtown Grand Las Vegas

Quiet place to stay even though it's in a really noisy area Price is good, friendly atmosphere,I definitely recommend it

We had an impromptu staycation for NYE and we really enjoyed our stay!! The room was clean, the hotel itself was quiet, aside from the given noise from Fremont St. I am a sensitive sleeper and I slept amazing in their super comfy beds. They have down pillows and comforters. The location was within perfect proximity to Fremont without actually being on Fremont. The staff were all wonderful!! We will definitely be staying again and recommending to our family and friends. Thanks!!

The room is ok but the heating in the room is not working. On the third day they moved us to the room across the street and again the same problem, the heating is not working. A very bad experience for which you get nothing but an apology in return. Never again in the Grand, look for any other hotel and avoid this hotel. Never a worse experience, our whole vacation was ruined

Great location, non-smoking hotel kept nice and clean, and great food options throughout the casino and in the surrounding areas!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I love the quaintness. I love the attention from the staff. I love that Rick is right there attached to the facility so it’s very seamless. You can run down for a snack anytime the staff is amazingly friendly and does everything they can to work out any difficult situation. I’ve saved this hotel many times in Mckinney.

We booked in August for our 50th birthday trip in December and booked a studio suite. When we arrived we were told we had been “upgraded”. Only it wasn’t an upgrade at all. The room we were given was totally different with only one chair, no desk and a fridge that looked like it fell off a truck. We asked for the room we’d reserved and were given multiple reasons it was not available and gaslighted by staff who kept repeating we’d been “upgraded”. After finally speaking with the manager we were told the tower our original room was in had been closed. We were not notified of this prior to arriving. During our 3 night stay our room was never refreshed at all. My husband ended up having to take towels and water of a housekeeper cart and our trash cans were overflowing. The “continental breakfast” we paid extra for was a black coffee, muffin and banana. I get this is a budget hotel but we expected better.

I usually stay at the Golden Nugget but have this a try. The location is great, just far enough from Fremont that the music isn't blasting in your ears at night, although you can definitely still hear it. The casino itself is meh but there's plenty of better ones within a short walk. My room was always cleaned promptly, which was great! I always have to do battle at the Nugget to get my room serviced. Decent lobby if you need to get some work done and want to be more social.

Wasn’t sure what to expect being a Pet Friendly Hotel but our room was immaculately clean. Everything about the room was perfect. AC, Heating, Bed and Pillows etc. We ate across the street at the hotel owned restaurant, the Triple George and the food and service were both on point! Started each morning at the Art Cafe for coffee,bagels,fruit and yogurt. The young lady working there each morning greeted us with a smile and great service. I will be back again for sure.

The hotel itself is very nice but 90% of the staff are complacent or just flat out rude. This will be the last time I stay or visit the Downtown Grand. It was so loud in our room we needed to get earplugs. They even put a note on the mirror so they know they have a problem. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here!!!

I am writing this message because I received absolutely fantastic customer service from a front desk employee named Royale during my recent stay at the Las Vegas location. My coworker and I were there for a week and ran into several issues which he quickly and professionally handled for us each time. Keeping in mind this was during a chaotic busy period during the NFR rodeo week. I also want to mention that during our check in, he was assisting another man who was less than kind to him, impatient and rude and he handled him with class and perfect demeanor. I would say he is absolutely an asset to your team and should I find myself down there again, I will be returning to your hotel because of that. Thank you Royale!
