The Bell at Stow

Great hotel, friendly service, comfortable room and delicious food.

We had a 2 night stay in a boutique room, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Area was relatively quiet despite being within walking distance of plenty of amenities with lots of shops, pubs and restaurants. The Inn itself is nicely decorated and well looked after. The food was extremely good too. Would definitely go back.

Great comfy bed . The room was immaculate and recently renovated top to bottom like you would for yourself in your own beautiful house not just a hotel room . Only down side was not enough hot water to shower and using hotel.com discount night and still getting charged .

Beautiful property within a short walk to the centre of scenic Stow. Is situated on a road, so with windows open some road noise. Excellent food. Clean room. Good beer. Helpful staff.

Would not stay at The Bell again. There were good things for sure. A nice bathroom and the shampoo, conditioner and lotions were the best I’ve seen. The problem was the room itself. The double bed was all it fit. About one foot on each side of it (so little I could hardly squeeze a smallish carry-on bag into it), which we had to do bc the space at the end of the bed was so small that you couldn’t move around with luggage at your feet (about 2 feet). We had to open luggage on the bed then close it and squeeze it away. I don’t know what we’d have done if we had any larger luggage. Ridiculously too small. The staff were nice people. I could see that, but they just gave us the key and a map and sent us up the street with bags to find the building and let ourselves in for the shock of the space. I guess it’s the price of wanting to visit a beautiful and popular village that some businesses will literally squeeze unsuspecting tourists for $$$. The village was beautiful though and walking wonderful and the food at restaurants delicious, so yes, we’ll go back walking there again, but I’d never trust The Bells to stay.

Amazing stay here this week! Staff are great, the food was lovely, good beer and wine; what more could you want?! Room was very nice with lots of nice little touches

I liked the personal touches like the biscuits, the glass of Port. Lovely rooms, friendly staff.

Quaint accommodation with all the modern touches , we ate in the restaurant which was good, breakfast was great, staff attentive and check in was quick and easy. The location of the pub was great, village of stow on your doorstep, would highly recommend
