Residence Inn Colorado Springs South

The property was prefect during our stay. The morning breakfast was not in any way prefect.

Just a little concerned when I recieved someone else's hotel bill at my email address; otherwise enjoyed the stay

I paid $75 for having a pet because they had to do deep cleaning. My bad for not checking this, as the normal charge I have paid is $20. I wish I had a deep cleaning in my room. The couch had food crumbs and the covering was falling off because it was ripped. The bathroom was gross with hair. It was such a nice room it was just trashy and dirty. The service checking in was great as was their security.

We loved that we had the two bedroom suite and there were also two bathrooms. This location also had an electric fireplace in the living room area. Hotel staff were great, even with a “coin shortage” they were able to supply us with change for the laundry facilities. Great location, right next to super Target and a few restaurants.

We are a family of 6 and were in town for the night. Our stay was amazing! Very clean and the staff was awesome! Alexandria helped us and she was incredible. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We rarely give the "poor" rating on Tripadvisor, but this visit, regrettably, deserves this rating. We stayed for one night at Residence Inn Colorado Springs South during an American West road trip during the coronavirus outbreak. This property is located within a cluster of mid-range hotels just west of Interstate 25 on the southern edge of the city limits, close to the Broadmoor World Arena. There was a plenty of surface parking. Check in was efficient. Our room on the second floor appeared clean, but further inspection revealed cleaning was not as through as we initially thought. The walls of the bathroom was dusty with stains. One of the TV remote was not working. I am not sure if the remotes were sanitized, since neither of them were in plastic bags as it has been the case in other hotels. The worst part of the stay was that the shower curtain/liner were too short, allowing water to flood the bathroom. We contacted the front desk but the person who was working there were neither able or willing to do anything about this. The bed was reasonably comfortable. I am afraid I cannot recommend this property unless there is a change in management.

Great location, friendly staff. They are only offering a cold breakfast bag that you can pick up on your way out, which I didn't mind, this seems to be the norm for all hotels I've stayed at the last few months. I noticed the public areas were constantly being cleaned up, overall this is one of the cleanest places we've stayed. Will definitely be staying here again!

Good location close to several restaurants and stores. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath room with full kitchen and a fireplace. The room was comfortable and quiet. There were minimal outlets in the bedrooms for electronics, we had to pull out our end tables and disconnect the lamp in order to have an outlet. There is a patio with a fire pit, tables and a grill available to guests. The grill was pretty dirty, when we mentioned we would like to use it the staff cleaned it up and even brought a new brush. The staff was friendly. At the front desks there were plastic partitions but they did not cover the entire area. None of the staff wore masks and they would often step away from the protected partition area to speak with guests. The lack of masks is a huge concern for me, it’s hard for me to believe that a corporation as large as Marriott would have so little regard for their employees and their guests, especially in an industry where people are traveling from so many locations. When I see a hotel where staff do not wear masks I feel as though they have no regard for the health and safety of their clients.

This Residence Inn is like most others: decent bed, good water pressure in the shower, and a little road noise, but not enough to really bother you. But unlike most Residence Inns this one has a snarky young man working the front desk and because of COVID, they've done away with all hot breakfasts (somewhat unexpected given that other hotels have managed to provide hot food in non-buffet settings). Instead, when you come to the lobby in the morning there is a pile of paper sacks filled who-knows-when with, well, not really breakfast. Despite the reduction in amenities -- and the absence of their most well-known amenity -- we were told there would be no reduction in rate (or even a few extra Marriott points for the trouble). Other hotel chains are doing better right now; visit them.

We liked the sports court, we played basket ball. The snack store was convenient. Close to alot of good restaurants
