Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach - DoubleTree by Hilton

My wife and I had such an amazing stay at this hotel. Wendy at the front desk was such a pleasure to work with at check in and with any extra requests we had during our stay. The view from the room was beautiful and the access to the beach and pool were great!! We will definitely be back.

My friends and I were at the Bahia Mar for only three hours and utilized their luggage storage. The staff was unfriendly and did not write our names on our luggage tags. In the short time we were there, a man entered the building and stole our friend's backpack containing his valuables and ID while it was being stored by staff. The staff would not help us and made many excuses about the number of guests at the resort that day, it being a Sunday, and inability to review their own security footage. I would doubt the safety of any guest here and will never be staying at a Hilton again.

I had a day pass with this hotel to store my group's luggage and one of our bags was stolen by someone who was able to walk past security, reception, and other staff into the storage room without anyone seeming to notice or stop them despite the bags being tagged. When the bag was discovered to be missing, none of the staff were willing to take the initiative to help and were unable to even check the security camera footage until the next day once the police had to get involved. After reviewing the footage, it seems as if the storage room was left completely unattended for enough time for this theft to occur. The luggage attendant was also not present for at least 15 minutes when we were attempting to drop our bags off in the first place. This place can't be trusted with your belongings!

My mom and I stayed at Bahia Mar for a 4-day mother-daughter trip and had an amazing time! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent the entire stay. The marina food was delicious, the rooms were clean, and the beach and relaxing atmosphere were perfect. We also loved how quick the staff was to respond through the Q&A text service. A special thank you to Ida for going above and beyond to help us and even offering some upgrades during our stay. She truly made our trip extra special. We will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful room on the 16th floor overlooking the beach a the ocean. I was attending a conference at the Broward County Convention Center and it was very convenient. The excellent staff made the stay even more enjoyable, particularly Ruthie at the front desk and Jermain who went out of their way to be helpful. I look forward to another visit!
