I can only speak for the room we stayed in (room 2), and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Additional cost cost on arrival for parking (about 15 euro per day - which I think is a lot). The host was not very flexible with payments and we had to leave to go and get the money before getting access to the room. The room smelled horrendously of mould and damp. We felt sick being in there and even with the windows wide open the smell was horrible. The room was freezing (colder than outside) and we asked the host if it was possible to turn the radiators on but was told it was the warm season and it would be an extra cost for some warmth. We felt we could not be in the room as it was so unpleasant. We did not address this with the host as we felt that previous conversations had not gone too well and after reading other reviews we felt it was pointless. Additionally, the fridge, kettle and glasses were stored in the bathroom with a really unsafe electrical setup. Towels were still damp/wet on arrival and did not dry in the cold damp room thought the entire stay. This is the worst room we've stayed in during our 3 months in Europe and I think this place is a health hazard. Unfortunately not recommending.

Owner was friendly. Rooms were reasonably clean for such an old building (some spiders excluded). In the summer it's for sure nice to be in a colder room. City is a ~20min walk away over a steep hill - doable if you're good by foot.

Heating rooms to 17°C is a joke. As we were travelling with a small dog, it was unbearibly cold. Water was cold or at most during the night, only was hot in the morning. So showering only was possible in the morning. Add-on prices are not listed on booking, so you're buying a cat in the bag.

Rooms absolutely stunk of mould, when we go there all the windows were open trying to get rid of the smell, and it was raining quite hard too when we go there with rain pouring into the rooms. Electric kettle and switches in the bathroom, talk about dangerous. Unbelievable.

The owner, what a rude man. Disgraceful behavior. He would not let us into our room which we had prepaid until we gave him another 32 euros. We had just driven 10 hours straight with 2 young children but he insisted we go find a ATM so we could get cash. He would not accept a card. Will never stay here again and i urge others not to waste their time or money on this absolute smelly dump.

Rooms price. Cleanness.

They charged me 17 euros / day for open air parking next to the hotel. This is a rip off. And the description on the booking.com was only saying: "parking charges may apply". 17 euros is a price to pay for underground parking in the downtown of Prague or Vienna, not for an open air place on the outskirts of a of small town. I feel mistreated. Overall room quality - columns next to our bed, floor height difference in the room. Acoustics - everything happening in the neighbor room was hearable in our room. ( Site manager. Unhospital. Luckily he speaks English.

It was clean, spacious room, there were lockers for things. Wi-fi was working in the room. Check in is till 5pm, but host waited as till 8pm.

The host was very strange, rude, inhospitable. The location wasn’t so quite because of the nearby street. Far enough from the center. Kettle and fridge were in toilet, it was odd.

The property itself is an old, nice mansion. The rooms were clean.

We sincerely warn against staying in this pension. Despite a number of faults such as a fridge and kettle in the toilet, smelly towels, the absence of shower gel and shampoo, darkness in the corridor, cold room (when I asked for an extra blanket I was told there's none because it's summer, even though the temperatures at night were around 10 degrees these days), hot water was the biggest problem. For the whole three days only lukewarm water flowed for showering. And when I pointed this out to the owner, he told me to my face that the hot water was running, even though several other guests from several rooms complained of the same problem. It didn't help to let the water run off, on the contrary, it cooled down even more after a longer time and we simply had to shower every day in lukewarm to cold water, even though the owner nonsensically claimed that the hot water was running and accused me of lying and behaved aggressively.
