HAKONE Setsugetsuka

The location is beautiful and close to the station.

The onsen were lovely and available.

Beautiful Ryoken where we were made to feel very special. Only stayed for 1 night but wish we stayed for at least 2! The evening and breakfast meals were incredible experiences as well as the baths. Hakone in general is also a fantastic place to stay especially with the hakone loop within steps of the hotel itself

The hotel were unwilling to help us book a taxi after our original bus was massively delayed, however they did help us figure out our journey otherwise

Welcoming and helpful staff. Lovely open air onsens, both private and public and set in the lovely wooded area. Our room was an older style Japanese ryokan type room, very spacious, comfortable and charming. We also chose to have breakfast and dinner included and didn’t regret it, both were delicious and delightful. The hotel also provides a range of complimentary offers eg free refreshments, free ramen and free use of yukatas for guest to wear. The location is right next to Gora station, which is easy to get to from Odawara via Hakone Yumoto

Our room was lovely but a little dated in places, which we didn’t mind but the safe didn’t work.

Beautiful environment and location.

Basically first hotel near the station. Room comfortable with sink and toilet in the room and bath tube and shower on the balcony! The garden has a hot spring flowing through and the common bathes are open air. The setting is exceptional!

夕飯時のサービスさんの食事の説明、食器類の下げ方にストレスを感じた。食事は時間以内はゆっくり味わいたい。
