Block Island Beach House

Breakfast was not served at this location, but we really appreciated the coffee and tea that were put out at hallway stations starting at 7:00 in the morning.

The room was very small, but instead of a surfboard a reading lamp and two small chairs could have been placed in the corner between the windows. The lights in the room were very bad.

The location is grea. Right in town, 2 mile beach to walk, good drinks overlooking the beach. The staff was very pleasant. The room was very cramped on the third floor. The bathroom walls were peeling and bubbling. Although we appreciate the”funky vibe” the bedroom needed to be painted. The windows are not supposed to be opened which seems silly with the ocean sound right outside The window screen was ripped. We enjoyed our stay but the price is way to high for the quality

i spent 1,500 dollars for one night, a 2-bedroom suite and I got a 2bedroon apt with no kitchen and very small. The pictures online were beautiful when i seen my room it did not look like the picture

Had a wonderful time at BIBH. Outside bar with yummy drinks and beautiful views. Rooms clean and comfortable for a family of 4. Will definitely come back.

They property offered everything we needed including private beach, pool out back at the GabLes, dining, coffee, bar, close to restaurants/shops but particularly loved that the gables were down the road from the Main Street. Just far enough away to be quiet but close enough for a quick walk to everything g we needed.

The location was lovely. Some of the staff really warm and helpful. Others….well you could tell they were ready for the season to end. Pool was nice, but had not been cleaned.

The rooms are small. Cozy, but small. Need some hooks for towels, coat, etc. used every surface…window sill included. Right on water which was lovely, but not allowed to open window. Our biggest disappointment….our room was never cleaned during our 3 night/4 day stay even after it was brought to their attention after first night. Have enjoyed other Lark/Bluebird properties and was looking forward to stay…we will not return to this one.

Very lovely, walking distance to most things.

Range of friendliness of staff ..come out to BI every year just " post season"...try different places each time. Spent 2 nts here, spent almost $1000 and we're told that only " regular" coffee was avail, not enough people to make decaf. Stairs need cleaning & painting . Didn't use room cleaners but left a tip anyway ( former inn owner)😢
