TRH Mijas

Again …and year after year …this lovely hotel did not disappoint…. Cleanliness was superb … towels and bedding changed every day … all staff so helpful and polite … fabulous selection of breakfast choices to suit absolutely everyone … no wonder we constantly return …. Thank you 🤩

The only thing that was very disappointing was the view from our window, we had a wooden trellis almost touching the window, I thought that we would have a patio or a balcony. It felt like we were in jail.

Very nice hotel but evening meal rather disappointing. Poor choice and hot food rather tepid.

Just home from a week in room 26 at first a little off put by the view mainly the pool bar roof, but decided to go with it and enjoyed our stay. Lovely old style hotel which is great. It is what it is. Definitely dated but in a very old school style. Breakfast was excellent I can’t understand any complaints about this, loads of choices plus the fantastic omelette man and lady, so much to choose from. Bar was also great watched the England game and enjoyed it great views from the balcony seats. Pool nice pool bar well stocked and reasonably priced. Alejandro was my favourite member of staff a really nice guy. Sunbeds very uncomfortable and the smell of paint at times overwhelming. Especially when painting bar floor we couldn’t actually escape the smell our room also it was a very toxic smell. The painter lads have a job to do but did pop up here there and everywhere. We would come again

Lovely traditional hotel. Wonderful staff very helpful reception. Clean rooms. Dreadful evening buffet restaurant. Hot food was VERY cold very little choice on hot selection. Otherwise good. I personally would not eat in restaurant at night if I had the choice again. Definitely not 4 star dining. Only our first night just hope it gets better.

Great location, lovely hotel with large room and ensuite. We didn't have a large balcony but we had no time as we were busy in Mijas. There is also a fantastic breakfast with plenty of choice for everyone's needs. The pool was large and had loads of loungers. Staff are so pleasant and helpful...just an all round great 3day stay! There's a great view from the bar terrace in the evenings...definitely will come back

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for our third visit as we love the location very peaceful with beautiful views. Breakfast was very good with good choice and great omelettes, evening meal choices not so good. Staff were friendly but I feel there could be more cleaning staff to maintain cleanliness of all public areas. We stayed in rooms 131 &132 from 7th-14th June and the large public terrace outside our rooms was a bit like the land time forgot. We reported this to reception a few times and though leaves were blown away rubbish, glass and weeds remained it was also very dirty it needed a good power wash. The area was also alive with ants which did come onto our terraces which would be controlled better if terraces were disinfected/cleaned every day this only happened once in our 7 day stay after I requested it, this should be included in room cleaning daily. Rooms were comfortable and clean though bathroom floor could do with a good clean. We were astonished however that the painters painted the outside of our rooms whilst we were sitting on our terraces reading they were very pleasant but surely maintenance like this shouldn’t happen whilst rooms are occupied. For superior rooms little things like tissues should be suppled, plus hand soap should be supplied in all rooms, small vanity sets and little sewing kits. As another reviewer stated charging to replenish tea and coffee is poor. We really like this hotel and will return hopefully you will take these comments as constructive and not criticism. It as a lovely hotel.

Lovely hotel , old style with a nice atmosphere staff were very good

Had to taxi everywhere, a wedding we were attending , to the beach , nightlife , airport which over 5 days cost approx €300

The location was good, very close to the town centre

The staff was hostile, hotel was not in a great condition. Our room was terrible and not what I booked and paid for. Ants in the room. Nowhere near 4 star resort.
