AURyokan Tamura is an amazing accommodation experience. It is located close to town centre and the building is beautifully decorated with traditional details that make it feel warm and welcoming. Our hosts were very kind and made our stay special. Very highly commended them on the food. They were able to provide a vegan meal for breakfast and dinner which was amazing! The food was fresh and delicious and it was clear how much care went into the preparation.

JPFood (Dinner and breakfast) were okay. But the quality was not money valued.

USLocation was right off the central onsen/square of Kusatsu. Very convenient, calm and quiet. The ryokan itself had 2 private and 2 gendered onsens that were almost always available for our own use and I will absolutely stay here again if I visit Kusatsu again.
Nothing - I even wish i stayed longer to make use of the in-house onsen!
