Roundhouse Hotel Bournemouth

Hotel bathroom was still dirty when we arrived especially the shower/bath and sink. Worse part was when we tried to check out the receptionist had lost my car keys meaning we left an hour after check out when wanting to leave at 9 making me late for work! Very little apologies or actions were made to make the situation any better, the receptionist just said “the other staff put them someone and I can’t find them, it’s not my fault but I will text them and ask where” which was extremely frustrating and made us very late leaving

Get what you pay for no bells or whistles here. If you get adequately wasted it's the perfect place to crash out. Didn't try the food as was on a strictly liquid diet. Nothing really too positive to say. Just remember to wipe your feet on the way out.

Absolutely disgusting rooms ... cost twice as much as advertised!! Paid nearly £90 to have a mouldy dirty room, brown water from tap in bathroom,someone else's soap on side, £10 to park car!! ... . Vile... Avoid this place!! (Pictures available)

Good friendly service but the room condition needs looking at ,peeling paper,cracked tiles,

No heating in the room plus windows would not close.

The hotel shape was very unique! The bathroom fertilitys could do witg been updated aslo the bath plug was broken. Overall the stay was perfect for what i need it for.

I booked this hotel for a trip to see a gig at the BIC. I booked a standard double room from Expedia based on the images shown on the booking site. The room we received bared no resemblance to the images shown, and for £95 we expected much much more than we got! The room was tiny and although clean(ish) was also very warm with just one small window to open, which incidentally was also not the best view. The noise from the adjacent lift (or so it seemed) was both annoying and loud, as was the many ‘stag dos’ and general groups of lads in your hotel, many of which were still shouting and banging on doors at 3am!! The hand sanitiser on our floor at the lift entrance remained empty throughout our stay, as did the machine selling water in the hotel lobby. On top of this some training may be needed to the reception staff as when we checked in the welcome was at best ‘frosty’. When I went back to my car to put something away I was left stood ringing the bell to allow someone to open the door from the car park and let me in for 10 minutes. I ended up having to walk down to the hotel entrance and back to my room. I think it speaks volumes that having made a complaint, absolutely no one can be bothered to address my complaint. All in all this did not give us the relaxing stay we had hoped for. This is possibly the very worst hotel I have stayed in and given the price I paid was scandalous!

Weekend away to see a show at the BIC, hotel is very run down, corridors stank of people smoking weed in the non smoking rooms! Window didn't fit properly in room 636 could see daylight through the seal, insects on the window sill and cigarette burn marks too! Walls very thin, could hear people next door at 3am singing, shouting and putting TV on very loud! Bathroom very dated, shower ridiculous, valve to make shower work was broken revealing a very unsafe pin that if you slipped in the bath would cause an injury, Bed is very hard, no telephone to contact reception and only basic TV channels. Wouldn't stay again, begrudge the money spent!

Great location close to Bournemouth Uni campus, close to local amenities, walking distance to the beach. Hotel is old and dated but fairly clean considering the age. Breakfast has a good choice but could have been better with brewed coffee. Overall good for a budget stay of couple of days.

The room was dirty, had hair and dust all over. Shower curtain is in the middle of the bath tub, I wonder what was going on there! Had 2 tiny plastic spoons, which just “melt” when you are using them to make a cup of tea But the beds were really comfortable. Bathroom was nice and clean.
